After trying 3 different recipes for margarita cupcakes I found this! I used lime and orange zest and lime juice instead of lemon. These were THE BEST and so easy! Also, I brushed them with tequila while warm. Heavenly with lime/tequila buttercream frosting.

I have never baked a cupcake in my life - found them too boring. These caught my eye, so I made them. Once made (they came out perfectly), I thought that the frosting was way too much (I have never had American buttercream frosting...). However, I followed the recipe and WOW! These are awesome!!!!! Even froze a few as an experiment and they defrosted perfectly. Thank you Sir, you are awesome!

Thanks for this great recipe. I made a a couple of edits to it to take the fat count down and plump the flavor. I reduced the butter to one stick and added a half cup of apple sauce. I also added 1.5 tbsp of high quality lemon essence. The little cupcakes came out just as fluffy and with an aroma to die for. We love them nekked.. with no buttercream... that's how flavourful they are. Thanks again.

I made this recipe and turned out delicious. I reduced the sugar to 1/3 cup and I put a little bit of raspberry preserves in each cupcake and on top for decoration. We love the combination of the lemon and the raspberry.

I made this but in cake form (no updates to ratios, just cooked double the time), and it's DELICIOUS. Added some raspberries on top. Also removed about half a cup of powdered sugar from the icing recipe- still came out very sweet so I'd try maybe 3 cups in the future instead of the 4.5 cups.

I'm going to try making these dairy and egg free cause my toddler is allergic. I'm excited to see If they turn out. I have all the substitutes so fingers crossed 🤞 Edit: Wow!!! 2 hours later and I've come back to say OMG these are delicious! I subbed the sour cream for homemade vegan yogurt, used an egg replacer, soy milk and vegan butter. Also used self rising cause I didnt have ap and left out the rising agents. I've never made cupcakes from scratch but these are honestly the best cupcakes I ever had. 😭 They are so soft and didnt stick to the paper. The yogurt gives them a pleasant twang almost like cheesecake. I could go on and on but I'll stop now. Lol

I made these today, and they were so soft and flavourful! For the first time my cupcakes turned out so so soft! :') I substituted the sour cream for fresh yoghurt and reduced the sugar to 150g. It took quite long to bake in my OTG thought, had to keep them for a good 30 mins at 350 F. Thanks for this recipe! -An Indian fan

I made your apple pie the other night (we didn't bother with the latticing haha sorry!) although we called it a Flapple Pie as we didn't have enough apples to fill the pie dish so it ended up being pretty flat, the filling was absolutely delicious and something I'm definitely going to practice and perfect if I can.
