Ingredients
for the dough:
1-1/4 cup (300ml) warm milk
2-1/2 tsp active dry yeast or 1 package
1/4 cup (50 grams) white sugar
1/4 cup (57grams) butter, melted
1 large egg
1-1/2 tsp salt
3-3/4 cup (480 grams) all purpose flour, plus more if dough is too sticky
filling:
1/4 cup (57 grams) softened butter, to spread
3/4 cup (150 grams) white sugar
Zest of 3 medium lemons
1/2 tsp vanilla paste or extract
Glaze:
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup (128 grams) powdered sugar
Juice from 2 medium lemons
Zest from 1 medium lemon

Made these since we are stuck in the house and I had an urge to bake. They turned out amazing! Just enough sweetness and just enough lemon! ❤️👏🏽

I made your potato salad last night. I had never made it with sour cream before, only mayonnaise. Your version is better than mine. I also made your chimichurri. Having fun and eating well. I am always looking for fast and easy breakfasts that are easy to get down. I am sure if I made these they would reheat well covered with foil in a toaster oven. The Trillium cooking school in Ontario, taught me how to proof a yeast dough in the microwave oven! Cover with plastic wrap and microwave at power level number one for ten seconds. I still like to do things the old fashioned way lol. I proof mine in the oven exactly as you do. I looked for one of those red heat lights they use to keep food warm in restaurants. I thought if I put that in the oven, it would keep the dough at perfect temperature for rising.
