Thanks for probably the 1st YT demonstration of the IdeaPad 5 Pro's disasembly, TechThinkable. Do you know if the RAM is 1Rx8 or 1Rx16?

I can check Aida64 Memory info later today, CPU-Z didnt show that info.

@@AQuestioner I cant really find any information on that, sorry. CPU-Z shows 3200MHZ CL22, but we cant really change anything because the RAM is soldered on.

When starting the notebook press F2 to enter the bios. Under the tab „configuration“ you can activate to „disable building-in battery“. This temporarily disable battery for servicing the system.

I can rattling from the left fan when I shake the laptop up and down. There is also really quiet buzzing from the left side of the keyboard that can only be heard if you place your ears really close to the keyboard. Should I open the laptop up and see what it is? Maybe it's a loose screw?

If I upgrade the SSD, will it void the warranty? Is it possible to wrap the thermal paper again on the new SSD?

I cant answer that, sorry. I guess if you keep the original ssd and wrap around you can still go back to that in case of a warranty issue. But dont count on my words. Yes it is possible to wrap the new ssd in that thermal paper, but I personally dont see the intention behind that thing…

@@broz2308 I have the standard Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 11AX (2x2) and Bluetooth® 5.1 card. I had the same problem like you, you have to download the wifi card driver from lenovo with another pc, copy it over and install it on the ideapad. For the lenovo drivers, just open the website that shows when you scan the QR-Code at the bottom of the keyboard. That worked for me, the drivers were just missing. I hope I can help you.

@@techthinkable4610 thanks for the tip man I'll try it soon. Mine connects sometimes but lasts for only 1 min it's so annoying I literally can't do anything haha. Did the card came together with your laptop ? mine has a realtek card.

@@broz2308 yes, I just unboxed it. That does not sound so good, but maybe try different driver or also BIOS update. Does your realtek card also support WIFI6? If you still have no luck maybe search for a cheap Intel card like mine, if you dont want to send the notebook back because of that little card. Hope you will find the problem!

Hey! No need to apologize, I am also not a native englisch speaker. I had the same problem with the integrated realtek wifi-card, you can try to force 5GHZ mode in the device manager, I will link you a website from dell where to find this option. (www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/de-de/000132395/aendern-sie-die-einstellungen-des-intel-advanced-wlan-adapters-um-langsame-und-instabile-verbindungen-zu-beheben) If that does still not work, you can change the wifi-card like I did. I installed the intel ax210 card, but the ax200 is also wifi6 and really good. Both cards deliver wifi 6, the ax210 also WIFI6e.
