I recently got my GO and IMO if you give them 6 months this thing is gonna outperform all the competitors. It’s already passing the Ally as a better GAMING handheld performance wise. Honestly with people saying it’s to big to hold or it’s to heavy sound ridiculous. I can easily lay in bed with thing for 3 hours and my hands feel completely fine. I travel for work and I can fit this in my backpack easily with no issues. So taking it on the GO is very easy.

I actually quite like the fps mode, and it is more convenient than bringing a mouse. My only issue with the device is the size and the battery.

I hope lenovo can start making more dedicated controllers for the Legion go. Like fighting game focused joycons that'd look like madcats pad , Fps focused ones, Utility focused ones to make it more useable as a windows tablet with maybe like an art pen. there's so much potential to market it to groups other than just PC gamers I just wish they'd put some effort into it. Or release the controllers software so third party companies can do these things. there's so much potential with this device because of the detachable controllers I pray they take advantage of it.

I actually really do enjoy my legion goal a lot more than I got out of my ally when I before I returned it, just because you completely failed to mention the best part about it and that's the screen. Sure, the steam deck owlet has a better screen but I'm sorry. The rock ally screen next to my legion goal is night and day. The color accuracy on that legion goal is amazing. You can actually use it for work if you wanted to because of how accurate the colors are. The color gamut is very very accurate 93% between 93 and 94% which is amazing. So it's not an OLED. But man those blacks don't look anything gray. They look very dark, almost like a black. It is the closest thing. Much better I haven't really. Yeah you have those other ones like the ANEO or whatever they're called but they also cost like double the price. So for 700 bucks with a screen this beautiful you're not going to get and you're actually very wrong. There's a lot of older games that are not even that old that I run them and they run like at 130 frames per second with the RSR turned on after the latest updates are actually stays on now. I play battle tech and it looks gorgeous on there. I can get easily 60 all day. Looking gorgeous at 1080p but that's a game that it's better to push that 1440 and get 30 which is perfectly fine because that game looks gorgeous at maxed out settings I was playing Batman origins. Oh my god that games runs easily well above 60 FPS and on that screen looks amazing. What's another one that I play on there? That looks really really good. Looks great! You can run cyberpunk actually is pretty funny how these handheld consoles, although they're not pushing 4K natively man that upskill doesn't amazing job. You can literally run things at 800 or 1080 and make it look like it's 1440 especially on such a beautiful screen and the size is perfect. Honestly, I don't even play my series x as much ever since I got my legion go because it's much more comfortable to play in my bedroom while I'm watching TV at the same time then have to go down to my living room to play on the big screen. And let me tell you you got to see this screen to understand why it's so gorgeous. And if you go to Best Buy and you see them both side by side 99% of the time, let's say 90% of the time you're going to pick that legion go just because of the screen because of how beautiful it looks. Because if you look at the Rog ally it's a good looking screen. It's not bad but when you see it next to the legion go, it's not a good looking screen. Nowhere near it's actually the colors look very washed out when I first picked up the ally. The legion goal wasn't available at the time so I was like. Oh yeah, it's a good looking screen. It looks good. You know the colors look nice. Yeah it's an LCD and in the legion goal came out and I went to Best Buy and I saw it next to my ally and I'm like. Yeah no I'm sorry this is actually ugly now compared to the legion go and it was easy decision for me. Yes, the VRR is nice to have. I would say that's more of a future proof than anything else, but at least anything that comes out now within the next couple of years. For the most part you'll be able to run. It finally go 4 years from now, 3 years from now when the next generation consoles come out and I'm sure AMD's next APU will come out which will be in those handhelds at the time. Of course at that point you're going to need to upgrade and get them better handheld. But I goes for everything all together and until the other there's really no competition between the ally the steam deck and the legion goal just because everything else that's on the market. Whether it's more powerful whether it has more RAM or not, the ridiculous price of it. And if I'm going to spend $1,500 I might as well just get a PC at that point. A laptop, a gamer laptop which will be more powerful than just better all together. Not only that, but the ally and the legion are the only ones that you can walk into Best Buy and buy it or Walmart or any store. For the most part, everything else is only online including the steam deck that completely limits how many are sold and how many people get to see one. It makes a big difference. Trust me, when I was looking at my legion goal there was a line of people there waiting to play with it at Best Buy and a lot of them that had the ally were like. Yeah this is way nicer looking and it feels more premium than I like. Feels kind of cheap. The whole thing feels cheap because it feels like cheap plastic. The legion goal feels like it was built more durable and I've dropped it on the floor already. Quite a few times unfortunately. I ended up having to buy 100 watt charger with a 10 ft cable so I stopped dropping it because the one that it comes with the 65 watt was nice but it wasn't long enough and I tripped over at a couple times and then I broke it and I dropped the legion go already a couple times on the floor. Good thing I had a tempered glass on it. If not I'll probably would have broken it by now but I haven't dropped it anymore recently ever since I got the longer cable. So 10 ft is definitely the way to go and I went with 100 watt and I noticed that ever since I got the 100 watt charger while I'm playing now it is charging before with the 65 watt charger. When I would play it really wouldn't charge. It would just stay right where it's at. Or sometimes if you're playing very heavy intensive game and you have it on performance mode, it would actually decrease the battery slowly but it would still decrease it. But now with 100 watt charger that I got I have no more problems with it. I can. It could be at 5% and I plug it in and I play whatever I'm playing and it will charge slow. It'll slowly charge cuz you know it's losing power but it does charge it which is great

Yeah. Nearly everyone else on KZbin mentions the screen and picture quality first on Lenovo Go. I own Legion Go too as it's the best PC handheld for many reasons.

@@I_Snook for the same price you can get a better laptop spec-wise, but the legion go is alot more versatile( you can use it exactly like a pc or laptop, as well as a windows tablet and also a gaming handheld pc which is pretty awesome. So yes
