@@itggear3400 rtx 2070 can work on 4 core and 8 threads?
@itggear34002 ай бұрын
@@brayanhamaro5514 Absolutely! The RTX 2070 can indeed work well with a 4-core, 8-thread CPU. While having more cores and threads can enhance overall performance, the RTX 2070 is a powerful GPU that can handle demanding tasks even with a quad-core CPU. It’s essential to strike a balance between CPU and GPU performance for optimal gaming experiences. Thanks for the comment

Hey finally a video that shows that the stock cooler backplate is indeed removable! Planning to case swap a Lenovo M73 tower so this is nice to know that i can swap the CPU cooler for something beefier.

Where did you figure out the front panel I/O pinout? power/led/reset
@itggear34002 ай бұрын
6:00 To address the font I/O pinout on the motherboard, I first removed the power button/Power LED cable from the original case and looked closely to address where the HDD LED, PWLED, and PWS printouts were. Also, I've tried several times to match the cable and the pin until the power LED is lit and the power button works. From right to left of front I/O header: - 1st and 2nd pin at bottom row are PWS+,PWS- - 3rd and 4th pin at bottom row are PW LED+,PWLED- - Move to the top row 5th and 6th pin are HDD LED+,HDD LED-

RIP PC, the only exhaust is the rear fan. The two fans on the top should be exhaust not intake.

You’re absolutely right! The top fans should indeed be exhaust, not intake. Thanks for pointing that out!

Can you do a video on how to upgrade the Dell Optiplex 3080 SFF, improving the cooling, and changing the graphics, as it can only hold a Single Slot LP graphics card. mine has a 10th Gen Core i5, but the temps get really high
@itggear34002 ай бұрын
The Dell OptiPlex 3080 SFF is too small, and there are only two PCIe half-low profile slots available. Also, the PCIe x16 is close to the PSU, so we can only install a single slot with a low-profile GPU to get the full speed of the PCIe x16 slot. The best single-slot low profile that is good for gaming, such as the Nvidia Quadro T1000 8GB or the Nvidia RTX A1000, are extremely high prices. However, You own an RX640 GPU, and the Intel Core i5-10400 is such a great GPU already. If you would like to improve your PC performance, consider upgrading the NVMe SSD and RAM.

How do you control the fan speed given the motherboard does not support automatic fan curve adjustment?
@itggear340015 күн бұрын
The Lenovo M900 SFF motherboard has four PWM fan headers: one for the CPU fan and three for case fans and hard drive fans. However, I’m not certain whether the Lenovo M900 SFF can control fan profiles in the BIOS. In my video, the mentioned that the CPU fan is controlled by the BIOS based on CPU temperature, while the case fans are controlled via a thermal sensor installed on the PC.

Hi bro , I have an ideacentre 5 ryzen 5 5600g and rtx 3060, It has heating issue so i want ro change its case and add cooling.Can you tell me a case which support this motherboard and other components

I believe both ATX and MATX cases should fit your PC motherboard perfectly. If you’d like to change the PC case, feel free to choose one based on your preferred appearance, style, and color. Thank you!

Hello bro, I have a problem, I have this same motherboard but I want to put a GTX 1660 on it. What happens is that I have an SSD connected to the last PCIe port and the SSD covers the fans of my GPU. That affects the performance or can damage my ssd?
@itggear3400Ай бұрын
I think it would depend on your M.2 adapter size. If the adapter is as small as mine, which I used in this video, I should be fine. However, if you have a multiple M.2 slot PCIe adapter that is large in size, it could potentially block the airflow of the GPU fan. It depends on the actual hardware of your setup. Thank you.

@@dereck1955 What are your thoughts on an adapter like this one: amzn.to/3WEoLVS ? It’s priced around $10 and is even cheaper on AliExpress. With this adapter, you won’t need to replace your graphics card, which could otherwise be a much higher expense. Thanks for sharing!

Automatic on
@itggear3400Ай бұрын
As you can see in the video, the RGB light automatically turns on when the PC is plugged into the wall, but the CPU fan doesn’t spin. This is because the 24-pin to 10-pin adapter for Lenovo turns the PSU on directly without motherboard control. The PC does not turn on automatically until I press the power button. Thank you.

@@itggear3400 Does this mean that the PSU never goes off? I've been wanting to upgrade a system like this, but I've heard that using non-proprietary lenovo PSUs will keep the PSU fan on all the time. Is this true?
