우리는 지금 시점에서 윈도우 11 지원이 되지 않는 인텔 7세대 cpu를 왜 사용해야 하는가?
@itggear34003 күн бұрын
Certainly! Let’s discuss why some users might still choose to use Intel 7th generation CPUs, even though they are not officially supported by Windows 11. - Existing Hardware Utilization: Many users already own 7th generation CPUs. By utilizing their existing hardware, they can save on upgrade costs and avoid unnecessary expenses. - Adequate Performance for Everyday Tasks: Despite not being officially supported, 7th generation CPUs still provide sufficient performance for everyday tasks. Whether it’s web browsing, office work, or media playback, these CPUs can handle it smoothly. - Environmental Considerations: Keeping existing hardware without replacing it contributes to environmental sustainability. By avoiding unnecessary hardware replacements, users reduce resource consumption and e-waste.

what is the model of this power supply and is this the small form factor?
@itggear34003 күн бұрын
It’s an HP proprietary power supply, and it doesn’t conform to any standard PSU size. The replacement model for the HP 500W PSU is the DPS-500AB-32A (part number 901759-003). Thank you!

@itggear34004 күн бұрын
For the HP Prodesk 400 G4, the best CPUs for gaming would be the Intel Core i7-7700 or the i5-7600K. Both are great options and compatible with the 6th and 7th gen Intel CPUs that this PC supports!

have used this PC build for a few days, and it works fine for me. The temperature while gaming is around 60°C to 70°C, with a hotspot temperature of around 80°C. This is not a problem since the hotspot temperature of the RX 6600 XT is 110°C, so my temperature of around 80°C is far from the thermal throttling point. Thank you.

Will a 500w PSU, a core i7 8700 and RTX 4060 8gb work well?
@itggear34006 күн бұрын
The recommended power supply for the RTX 4060 is 550W. However, this recommendation is for systems with overclocked CPUs and GPUs, such as an i9-14900K. For your setup, a 500W power supply should be sufficient. Thank you.

Please check if your PC motherboard uses a 6-pin or 8-pin ATX power connector. If it uses a 6-pin connector, the adapter in this video should work for you. However, if it uses an 8-pin connector, you will need a 24-pin to 8-pin ATX power supply adapter instead.

Nice video! I'm curious, does the PSU supply enough power for the additional GPU? I want to do this but with rtx 3060, but i'm not sure if it's even possible considering the form factor and the PSU
@itggear34007 күн бұрын
It’s not possible to install an RTX 3060 in an HP ProDesk 600 G5 SFF (Small Form Factor) PC. This system only supports low-profile GPU cards. Additionally, the 180W PSU (Power Supply Unit) won’t be sufficient for the power requirements of an RTX 3060.

I wanted to get this but in the end i got the 3050

Honestly, I didn’t really need this Gigabyte RX6400 LP right now. What I truly wanted was an RX6400 LP single-slot GPU for my HP ProDesk SFF (small form factor) system. However, I stumbled upon a guy selling this GPU on Facebook Marketplace for $60, so I decided to buy it. Unfortunately, the RX 6400’s gaming performance falls short compared to the RTX 3050 LP 6GB. It struggles to run most games at 1080p on low settings, achieving less than 60fps.
@Paracetamolo297 күн бұрын
@@itggear3400 yea that was actually what I was afraid of. The 3050 costs more (i got it new at 160) but was perfect for my own "build" I have an HP prodesk g5 400 mt with a i7 8700 that doesnt bottleneck the gpu, 16 gb ram and a 310 W psu (recommended Wattage for gpu is 300 (: ). Right now i can perfectly run my favourite games with very good looking graphics or ray tracing like minecraft, gta, cs2 or even heavier games like cyber punk all with 260 € pc! I also believe that the community is still stuck on 2022 hate on this gpu but recently many creators defended it cause of its actual good pricing right now. But in the comments i still see people criticising the rtx 3050 and every time I ask they either have a gtx 1650 (150 € for a card that performs 60% worse than the rtx 3050 and has no ray tracing) or a rx 6600 which I dare you to get a build for it under 600€!

Currently, I don’t have an HP EliteDesk 800 G1 to test the CPU cooling solution. However, since you have one, you can try the following steps: Remove the CPU cooler heatsink and then experiment with the Intel screws. If they don’t fit, try the AMD screws to determine which one works best for your setup
