Good review. I see where the Lenovo can link to spotify, but I am wondering...since it has storage/memory...whether songs can be downloaded to the clock and used as a 'wake-up' song? If not...do you know of a clock that can store songs and play them? Thanks.

You can only use the preinstalled ringtones. I just mine a few weeks ago. Spotify will play but just as a music source

Just got one, no net? No alarm, not even default! Plus it turns it off alarm after 10mins no reason. Plus currently casting and Bluetooth cuts off after 10mins

Like the screen of the smart clock and easy alarm controls. The Max is there just cause that was the best place to put it in my room, I have 4-5 speakers in that room in totall for a surround sound feel when listening to music.

You can't name the alarms but you can set multiple. They'll just show what times they go off at and the days they're set to go off.

You can get a ggole.mini right now for 29 dollars The smart clock is 79 dollars. I got mine on a pre black friday sale for 39. It was worth the 10 bucks extra

I'm confused by your review, you say you don't think it needs a ambient light sensor, but you want it to turn off when it's dark?

Ambient color temperature light sensor* which adjusts the whitebalance of the display. The device already has a regular brightness sensor. There's just no way to have it shut the screen completely off so you don't see the time in settings.

Mine gets extremely dark. You can just barely see it once the room is dark. And you can adjust it as well
