The horizontal shooting angle of a GoPro is 150 degrees, and your Lens is 60 degrees less, so now the shooting angle is only 90 degrees with your Lens here. ...Why would anyone want a narrower view from 150 degrees down to 90 degrees? At your video clip at time 0:20, you are saying incorrect things.

@@Kenneth45 exactly,... in order to get red of that stupid distortion in this pretty bad lens, this bad lens can only do a crop, defeating the purpose to buy that lens in the first place, for it is NOT a good replacement for the gopro lens. One would downgrade the gopro alltogether with this lens here

@@Kenneth45 ...it is not simplified at all, it is a bad, and cheap, and very compromising, low-end china lens, end of the story. No GoPro user would want to narrow the field of view to a third of what he had before with 150 degrees, by cutting off left and right sides each, to such a degree, where this lens becomes for a GoPro user an almost a telephoto lens. This lens would defeat the purpose of what it advertises for. Mind You, there are lenses out there which are also corrected rectangularly, and still keep and deliver a 120 degrees intact, of the inherit 150 degrees original GoPro lens. And where the loss is only 30 degrees of the 150 from a GoPro lens. But here this lens remains with only 60 degrees Field of view.... who would want to crop of so much of the picture? I do not know of any GoPro Consumer who would want that.

You're doing great job guys. I am just curious, are you working on other lenses for new gopros? I checked your website, there are some good looking lenses but all for older gopros. Something with focal range 4-6mm with manual focus would be great. Also hardly trying to find any lens for my Hero 7 with focal length 3-4mm faster than f2.8 that would suit for low light/Astro. Any ideas?

New GoPro Hero8, 9, 10 cameras do not have removable lenses. GoPro did this on purpose to avoid companies from changing their lenses which has cost them to fall in camera sales!

I'm planning on buying a gopro hero 7 black and I want to convert it to a full spectrum camera for infrared and ultraviolet videography. Since these are the only lenses I can find that are compatible and have an exposed hot mirror (the red glass on the rear of the lens) do you offer these lenses that do not contain the hot mirror? If not, do you provide a service to have the mirror removed?

Two years ago, I bought a 3.77 mm pixAero macro lens and installed it on a YI 4K Xiaomi action camera. I got amazing good macro shots while shooting insects. I wonder if that same lens (3.77 mm pixAero) is compatible with gopro 6 and gopro 7 action cameras. Can I put that lens on gopro 6 and gopro 7 action cameras.

I usually shoot in 4K SuperView, and then do lens correction in adobe premiere. Would this lens make that process easier, without loss of detail? Like would it allow me to shoot a clear 4K image that is better than what I’m doing now?

Please correct me if I’m wrong: The tutorials I’ve seen of different brands direct you to install the lens and then set your camera either to 2.7 K (not ideal) or 4K with digital zoom (loss of image). What I want is to just shoot in 4K and just have a lens de-squeeze the fisheye and give me a straight image. This would give me a 4K image without loss, rather than doing it in post using a lens correction plug-in. There are a bunch of lens adapters, none of which seem to do this except maybe the backbone ($$$)
