I’m so glad to find this recipe. I’m just starting to learn how to cook Indian food and don’t have a lot of the spices that most dal recipes call for. But I do have all the spices that you use except for the button chili so hopefully it will turn out well. So thanks so much 💕☺️

I would 100% recommend this recipe. I made daal for the first time ever in my life using this recipe ( I didnt even know the names/color etc of daal before) and havent stopped making daal ever since then, thanks to this recipe. It is perfect every single time. I skip the tomatoes though. Thank you for such quick, easy and delicious recipe.
