And the case with thousands of "only dog" owners. Because some dogs - not all breeds, some of the smartest (as in think for themselves, not good at repeating a trick) dog breeds are as independent as cats - are so desperately dependent on humans it caters to those insecurities and ego. .... Dogs are instinctively hardwired to care for and protect younger pack members. Breeds like the German Shepherd have more wolf like genes with stronger instincts so they tend to take this role more seriously. Dogs have an amazing sense of smell. They can literally smell your age, detect your health, blood disorders, sense seizures before they happen. It constantly licks and sniffs this kitty comforting it sensing it's health and ingraining it's scent. Love these videos so cute and seeing nature at work.

Beautiful video! I have a Goldie and a kitty and my girlfriend has a Goldie and a long haired shepherd! Kind of weird huh. The only difference is that both the Goldie’s are boys and the shepherd is the girl. And it makes for an entirely different dynamic. The boys just play and play and she’s the fun police who comes in and tries to breakup any fun or games and not because she’s jealous wants to play too, simply because it pisses her off when they have fun lol
