Dogs love games. Their favorite seems to be tug-of-war, and they also like fetch. Hide and seek is another favorite.

Their preferences seem to depend on the dog breed. For example, retrievers could play fetch all day (thus their name), but my terrier had no interested in that. He much preferred "keep away," where he held the toy and danced around me while I tried to take it from him. (My most successful tactic by far was to just grab the whole dog and pick him up first!)

What a fun game! I used to play this game with bacon bits with my dogs. I would have them sit and stay in one of the bedrooms. They loved this game so their tails would be wagging furiously. I would hide the bacon all over the house, then go back to the room and release them. First dog to the bacon got to eat it, so they would race around the house looking for all the bits. After awhile they would all wander back to the same room and sit and wait patiently to start the game over again. They were so smart.

They can, dog nose and ear are sensitive, to be successful, you need to hide your smell, try to wear hazmat suit and make no noise

I could never manage to do this, if I could just barely see my dog and then watch as they walk away, I’d start laughing while also trying not to laugh. That is impossible for me to do, so my dog would be able to find me very easily. To the people who can manage to do this without laughing, props to you, this actually looks like fun.

Thats your home so they cant track you by smelling your sent, because your sent is everywhere in your own home. Try the same game in a location that doesn't have your sent everywhere, somewhere which is not your own home.

I use to play hide and seek with my sheepdog. I'd throw a stick over the barn and he ran around to fetch it. I'd then hide inside. Never took him long. Soon as he got to the spot where I was standing when I threw it, he dropped it and his nose hit the ground.
