I played hide and seek with my Siamese cat and also tag. We would switch off in hide and seek. That cat could really hide.

Makes sense.(literally). Dogs are scent trackers, then sound, THEN sight in order of priority. For the bed they were able to ballpark it pretty easily but the precise location took them a moment... The hallway was easy ....the bathroom most likely had weird acoustics and too many scents to easily Trace.

It's nice but a lot of hard floors which is slippery for dogs and potentially dangerous running on stairs. Guess this house is in a hot place. Colder places usually have carpets everywhere, even on stairs.

When my wife and I come home after an evening out, we play a game with our Shih Tzu. I go in first via the garage, let our Shih Tzu out the front door to pee/poo. Normally, she likes to procrastinate outdoors forever, but in these cases, she’ll pee really fast and run back indoors. Meanwhile, my wife has stuck in via the garage and is hiding. It’s fun to see our Shih Tzu zoom everywhere until she finds my wife and does more zoomies to celebrate.
