When I saw the movie, over a decade ago now, I remember when the moment came of Hugh Jackman as Jean Valjean singing this beautiful song which was written for the film, I actually started crying, because I knew, just as I think everyone else did, that what Jackman was singing was such a moving little tune.

Hearing all of the Les Miserables songs like this brings tears to my eyes since this was the last school musical we did,and we were a hit every night, but next year will be my last because I am now a junior in high school and will be a senior next year and next year will be my last high school musical and I will miss the singing my heart out to others and the bonding with other actors. Damn it I’m crying. And next year we are doing Into the Woods and my graduation class has been trying to persuade my drama teacher to go through with it and now we’ve got the show green lit and I want to have my last musical with a bang, with me being Cinderella’s Prince.

You're not serious? I'm not a big fan of Skyfall {movie or song} but this was a weak year for Best Song at the Oscars and Skyfall went to #1 in 13 Countries, #2 in the UK and #8 on the Billboard Hot 100! It would have been a travesty if Skyfall had lost to this crap that only got nominated due to every other song in Les Mis being from the Show and therefore not ORIGINAL!

I love Hugh Jackman, seen him in concert and was blown away by his talent, but not sure he was the best for this role, saying that I adore this song, I rarely like it when they add new songs to movie versions at the expense of original songs (a few were massively and tragically cut in the movie version) but this new song was fantastic
