I have to say... the end of the song beautifully delivered... I saw the passion also in your eyes... You felt the song. BRILLIANT

My name is Amy, I am a musical theatre student, i personally think that this song has to have a certain amount of maturity in the voice, which you dont quite have yet but will one day. Some of the notes seemed strained sometimes. This is a very challenging song for any male so good job! :)

he did play Valjean in his schools production of Les Mis, if you havent already watch him singing Empty Chairs at Empty Tables. He does most songs from this musical real well.

hahaha Unfortunately I haven't even heard that for the longest time now :p I'm looking into a few doctors right now to try and get my tonsils out. My dad used to get sick all of the time too until he had his tonsils out and after that he's almost never sick anymore. Hoping to get that done this summer :)

I was sceptical at the start (as this is one of my favourite songs and very difficult to sing), but when you sung I can honestly say that you have an incredible voice and you did the song justice. Excellent job.

I tell you, this is a really hella hard song to nail, and with the exception of a few pitch issues from 2:10-2:18 (picky), I thought you nailed it. Very well done. I am a bit of a Les Mis fiend; have seen it too many times in too many places from too many players, but I give you solemn props for even making an attempt at this number after having heard you pull off "Stars." Javert and Valjean are always cast as seperate vocals because of the massive range differences. Well done dude. Big props.

You have an amazing voice!!! Now, I'm still learning as everyone who sings is but one of the things I noticed is that you tend to back away from those top notes, now it may be out of your range or you know sick but bringing it into your mask would be better than swallowing it. But you sound amazing!!!! And still moved me to tears!!! Thank you for sharing your talent

@PTOPhantom When will you be posting more videos? I would like to if can do a duet with you of Point of No return if that is ok. I have heard your version and it is brilliant. I am turning in to a fan of yours. Lets hope you post more videos up soon. Speak Soon Steph xx

I've watched your videos from 1st to most recent. The change in your voice is amazing. Are you in college as a vocal major? Your improvements sound like they came from well structured vocal lessons. Regardless, after hearing this I think your voice is brilliant. I've seen the references to your illness but from the beauty of these vocal recordings there doesn't seem to be anything you can't sing. While you may be posting these for yourself, I am so grateful that you have shared them with us,

I would work on your attack of the notes, if that makes sense, but once you start each note it's beautiful. Great control and vibrato. I enjoyed both this and Javier's Suicide (all I've seen so far). You have a wonderful voice!

Dude So your tonsils are playing up? You got it all sorted, I hope? You gotta keep going fella. This is just beautiful btw. Your voice is phenomenal! You are so talented! And the haircut - great. Keep it mate - (more stubble, please! Haha). Keep going!

This is really good, there are parts where you really shine and parts where we notice you're sick :p a rule of thumb would be to not try to record songs that go veeery high when you have a cold :D I say do a remake when you're better :)

WOW! I am really impressed! I would kill for a strong voice like yours! I am attempting this song with my singing teacher at the moment (as a sort of project) and I am envious of that voice! Do you have any tips for me with the breathing technique? Would love to hear from you and congrats one last time.

wow I sing this in the lower key and I really loved your tone and sound quality is great, nice sound system is the mic expensive? also without a mixer how o you add reverb or do you play with it afterwards using software?
@RooBeeBeeDee14 жыл бұрын
I like you because your singing voice is so nice to listen to, and because your speaking voice reminds me of Joss Whedon. Which is awesome. Do you use autotuning? (if not, take that question as a compliment! You never seem to go out of tune) X
@PTOPhantom15 жыл бұрын
I use a Samson G Track recording microphone. It is a USB microphone so it is very easy to use and I didn't need to buy a mixer or anything else to go with it :P

I know you said not necessarily the singing, but I think perhaps scoop less between notes or fall off less at the ends of phrases? Apart from that, your voice is beautiful, and I loved this in particular - it's hard to do it so passionately during the loud bits and so beautifully at the start, but you pull it off tenfold.xxx
@lovecontent15 жыл бұрын
Excellent job! Very good on the high notes! The music sometimes drowned you out. Next time, make the music quieter so that your voice can stand out more. You have great musicality.

One of my favourite songs and you have a nice voice, but you were at least a quarter-tone sharp throughout. It may be a headphone issue.
