The second clip is when Mariah isn't exactly "sober" and yet she was so refreshingly comfortable compated to recent years with ad libbing, playing around etc. I think so much of Mariah's problem is she's always in her head, something I struggle with myself. I can only imagine how difficult that is to manage while on the stage, all eyes on you while heavy lights beam down. I don't advocate singing under the influence btw

I used to think she’s a bit showy even though I am a fan. But over the years, it has been proven that her whistles are not over the top and actually value adds to the songs, with her joining in at appropriate moments. Only a musical genius like her would know when to use it and how to use it suitably. I mean she could have just yelled all over the place but she chooses to do this gentle touches all over. She’s not just a singer, she’s a musician. ❤ The best ever.

I was at her performance in Jamaica and she was drunk and still sounded amazing. One of the few times she performed “I’m that Chick” live and only the lambs knew the words. 😂😂

Some people think that if they can whistle too they are in par with Mariah No no (no hate 😂). That example alone when she sang Vanishing the transition & the way she did it, no one has ever tried.

She open/close her vocal cords so quickly and easy cuz she doesn't have to close the entire cords then strain it to slightly open just a little bit of it so the air can come through and make the whistle sound like NORMAL people do which is using a lot of STREGHT to do it. She just Have to close her nodules to reach the same result the only problem with that is her nodules condition are unpredictable !!! IT's not like u drank tea to warm your cords when it's warm it's easy to open blah blah ... NO !!!! The Nodules literally have IT'S OWN PERSONALITY u don't know when it's decied to Randomly Swollen and torture u yep IT'S HURT SO BAD THAT U EVEN HURT FROM SWALLOW A SIP OF WATER. ...but if it's decide to be cool that day... U able to switching From places to places of the whole Larynx and in fact u don't even want to find a Good PLACEMENT and then hold in there to sounds good... when u can moving around All the placement AND Still NOT RUN OUT OF BREATH
