Love that intro lol. Yeah this was something I couldn't understand when I thought I was bi. There are so many things that still don't make sense and if the point is cheating... a cheater gon cheat regardless, doesn't matter if they a lesbian, pan or bi.

When I was trying to figure out whether I was lesbian or bisexual, I had terrible experiences with women. I had a woman straight up ghost me because I had dated a man in the past. I think my current girlfriend uses pan as her label because of the biphobic lesbian community.

idk why you'd think identifying as pan would lead to less discrimination from a monosexual culture monos want monos they don't want liars

As a lesbian I dislike the idea that gay women dislike men or find men disgusting. I think that is far from the truth. Someone’s sexual lesbian preference does not insinuate finding men unattractive or disgusting. That’s like me perceiving that every gay man has a special hatred for women in their heart lmao! The truth of the matter is people like what they like. I don’t think that their is a biphobia going around people just normally like to be around people who they have more in common with and that comes with sexual preferences as well. The truth of the matter is regardless of how bisexual people may feel majority of them if not all do have a preference of which sex they like better. Which is not a problem, at the end of the day bisexuals should not be mad if a lesbian does not want to date them. There are plenty of other bisexuals they can choose to date, and they would probably have a lot more in common with other bisexuals than someone who is gay. I feel like just because you prefer both does not mean your always going to have access to both. I think bisexual peoples ego is in the way of them finding other bisexual people that can relate to. There are plenty of heterosexual women who would not want to date a bisexual man and that is not a problem, and it should not be. It also applies with lesbian women, they don’t have to date a bisexual if they don’t want to. It’s not oppression or biphobia. It’s literally a choice.

that definition actually applies to both bisexual and bi-curious women since 9 out of 10 bi women end up with men. check it out, don't take my word for it. [edit] but appreciate a lot that your video was respectful, unlike almost all others on the topic, although I disagree (not being attracted to someone is not a form of discrimination).

Interesting video, but Idk certain bits of it don’t sit right with me. Particularly one part where you said that bisexuals don’t deserve to be persecuted because of a lesbian’s bad experience with other bisexuals. I don’t think that a lesbian preferring to date other lesbians is persecution or oppression. No one is entitled to sex with anyone else, and we are allowed to rule people out of our dating pool for literally any reason whatsoever.

Yeah the experience of dating someone who only into women is different to dating someone who is bi. It's OK to opt for one experience over the other.

@@pinless_grenade It really is. It doesn’t make bi women bad of course, but there is a special solidarity between lesbians that I really value.

@@grassgeese3916 Being a woman who is not sexually or romantically interested in men is an extremely unique experience that colors the life of an individual in dozens of ways.

@@SleighJessi Exactly and from my experiencing dating bi women by accident (they usually lie about being a lesbian but can't remember they lied half way through a date, I wouldn't date one on purpose) they talk a LOT about men. How awful they are, how hot they are etc.. I can't relate. They also think lesbians hate men. They're usually the ones who've invested in them and thus have the most issues with them. Lesbians don't emotionally or sexually invest in men so we're pretty indifferent about them.

I recently was struggling whether or not to talk to my boyfriend about it but I told him that I’ve been acting kind of weird because I didn’t want to tell him that I think that I’m lesbian. And I got really emotional and then he said that I go through this like every four months and that it’s because we’re not doing anything much in our relationship right now and that in the spring and when we have more money in time to that all feel happier about the relationship but after watching theMaster docs I feel like I identify more with lesbian then bisexual. And I even identified as lesbian at some point when I was younger but just went back to bisexual because I was not having good relationships with the girls I was with and guys were just easier and I was actually sleeping around as a form of self harm or punishment. And now I’m in the current relationship I’ve been in for three years and more frequently lately I’ve been wondering if I can even be happy with a man. I just feel like something is missing and I don’t know if my attraction to men is real or not

It's weird because think about it. Straight people are ofc dating the opposite gender and that opposite gender ofc have been with their own gender who they don't have an attraction with but they are not like... "phobia-ing" over it. Somehow it's mostly lesbians who are biphobic. I don't hear many stories of gay men being biphobic though. I'm a bisexual guy.
