“Lesser Used” Cars That Weren’t Lesser Used That Got Removed in GTA Online…

Rockstar claims that all of the 186 cars that were removed some time ago were “lesser used”, and for the most part I agree with them, I scrolled through the entire list of removed cars and I only found 11 that seemed to actually be used, all of the other ones were not. So today I will be showing you all 11 cars that were removed from purchase that were definitely not “lesser used” cars.

Well it’s like that for every npc cars, either you only see them or you go a week without seeing one, like the faggio 😂. It may be slow but I got all them faggios and they are really cool, especially faggio mod, faggio sport is unique but ok and og faggio is the best motorcycle no hesitation 😂

"Lesser used" was a lie. Rockstar needed to give more "bonus stuff" to get more players to get GTA plus. And after they tested the waters with the FOMO releases like the Annis 300R. They saw the opportunity to force players to log on more often and log in to buy the car of the week.

Luckily for me, I have most of the more expensive removed website cars in my garages. But the thing about the vamos, I don't like the way it handles. It seems to drift to the left and right when you go high speeds. Same with the tulip and some other muscle cars I own. I got the 9f, the Rapid GT and alot of other removed cars from either my friend or buying them from dealerships. This was a very big and stupid mistake on rockstars part.

@@v_Falls_v I for a fact have seen a lot of removed cars in my sessions I've been in on PS5. I'm actually driving my 811 right now as we speak. So, in my eyes, theres no such thing as "lesser used" cars. All cars are used by everyone. Now yes, I admit, some of the older DLC cars, I can understand being lesser used. But that doesn't mean I still don't see them around. I have quite a few OG cars in my garages. The Vacca and Infernus, Entity XF, feltzer, which is based on one of my favorite cars. The SL 65. I don't see them often. But that doesn't mean people don't use them.

I completely understand why people dislike the Vamos, but it is far and away one of my favorites. Absoutely terrifying to drive and a ton of fun (I also appreciate any car that offers rusty/beater livieries). I only came back to GTAO recently and cleaned out a good chunk of my garage before learning they removed so many cars 😅 Glad I held on to the ones I did!

Thanks for sharing, maybe.. Rockstar wanted players to do the Auto Shop jobs etc.. I've acquire the Comet by doing services at my Auto Shop as well as asking a friend to sell me a copy of their car at the LS meet.. & then there's Simon's car yard sales that change weekly. ps.. As you have mention the data collected would make for an interesting insight into what vehicles are less used as well as other trends.. clothing or music etc.. And again, thanks for the upload..

The vamos is a huge car in the GTA drag racing scene, its the main car used along side the asp, but luckily with this new update these cars can be purchased again from other players, well that's already a thing on current gen (p5) old gen (p4) is now getting that option which I find quite amazing

Now what’s the point of these massive garages we have or can buy when there’s not even enough cars in the game to fill them.

The cars being deleted had nothing to do with them not being used. they were just afraid to state the real reason because they knew people would go ape shit. Do you really think it’s a coincidence that 180 cars were removed in the same update where the vinewood car club is added where gta+ members can buy cars that aren’t on the traditional websites. There was zero reason to remove those cars. You could just use price tags to easily find cars you were looking for and if it was really an issue they could’ve added a search bar but making the websites more convenient to traverse was never the point. Why do you think war stock cache and carry wasn’t touched despite it having plenty of trucks and vehicles no one ever touches? It’s because those utility trucks and big rigs wouldn’t fit in with the vinewood car club. They wanted more exclusive content for gta+ members but they were so lazy they didn’t even bother to add new content and just took away pre-existing content to repackage it as exclusive and lock it behind a paywall.

The Vamos, Fagaloa, Frontier and the og Comet can be bought if you have an Auto Shop. Edit: R* removed the Comet from Legendary Motorsports but kept it on Bennys Customs website.

There was no reason to remove these cars from the game. Some coped by saying it was for "optimizing the game", as by removing a lot of useless GBs from the game, but that didn't even happen, the game still weights 100GBs on consoles and PC! So Rockstar just "removed" them to annoy players and to sell more Shark Cards when these cars appear on the autoshops.

Never played GTA online. First time I saw what you call a "Comet" in GTA story mode I instantly thought "Porsche GT2". Is the car I most like to drive and will usually grab one the moment I see it. Kinda hard to believe such a car could ever be unpopular. So obviously they had other considerations in mind for removing these cars.

I agree with some of your picks. But most are odd in my eyes. If a car isn't imani tech, it requires something special to be worth using. options for this are: armored weaponized has some other form of special upgrade option (benny's, PRB liveries, maybe HSW upgrades, etc) extreme amounts of customisation optoins (ie.: tuners) the only one I really miss, is the Comet SR. When I heard it was back for a week, I was stupid, and didn't check the cars in the LS car meet, where it was... The one Pfister (other than the Astron) that I still don't have, but want. I like Porsches. The rest I either alrready have (the rest of the Pfisters on this list, or the Stirling GT), or don't care about in the slightest.

Hopefully that changes in gta 6 we shouldn’t need explosive, bullet and rocket proof cars in a game of crime, bulletproof at most. Since the release of all the weaponized futuristic shit, that’s the path this game went down.

@@DankestSupply the moment sticky bombs were introduced, explosion resistance was important. The difference is, that explosive MG's that planes had, and homing rockets (that also mostly planes had) made killing players on the ground way too easy for griefers, hence why explosion resistance became as important as it is today. Same goes for the missile lock-on jammer in the Imani Tech cars. I have over 70 cars in this game, many armored/weaponized ones too, but the only vehicles I frequently use, are the Virtue, as it si the fastest Imani Tech vehicle, and has no irritating engine sound due to being electric; the Deluxo, 'cause it can fly, the good old mk2 broomstick, and the Sparrow from my Kosatka. These just simply outclass the rest. Sure, if I wantedto go racing, I have the best lap-time cars from every category. (No HSW, as I can't have that on PC sadly; but the normal version of the fastest HSW vehicles in their respective classes are also almost all in my garages.) But really, who even races in this game anymore? It's terrible for earning money, the only reason to do it is if you have fun doing it, which I don't think too many people do. I don't think it's necessarily bad, that the meta changes, and specific traits among wehicles become important. What I think causes issues, is that older vehicles are not updated to reflect these changes. At all.

What I have never understood about Rockstar is that on the 360/PS3 Gen of GTA V, any vehicle or weapon available in online was unlocked and available to story mode players, via the purchasable garages, marina, helipad and hanger and the weapons available at ammunation. Nowadays, it's only ever online that gets new content, yet we've never been given a story mode DLC. If Rockstar is gonna remove vehicles from online, the least they could go is give us the content in story mode, at least the reasonable stuff, like normal vehicles and weapons, that don't require facilities or bunkers, etc. And of course, you could argue "Why don't you just play online" well for your information, I'm 30 years old and with the little free time I have, I don't want to have to compete in a toxic online lobby, just to buy some cars. when I started playing GTA, Vice City was still relevant. Lastly, online gameplay is not permanent. eventually, the servers for GTA online will be shut down at some point in the future. So I don't want to constantly work and work and build up everything I have in online knowing that one day I won't be able to access it. Where is story mode will always be permanent.

RS knows majority of gamers played GTAO so they're doing experiments making GTA+ subscription and see how users would react they removed cars and see if players willing to collect rare cars that are harder to obtain same logic applies on how RS treats new gen players PS5/XBOX sires S/X. PC are capable to handle all the new stuff HSW, criminal career etc why? probably to make sure what ever the new replacement wouldn't fail like RDRO or be such a mess like GTAO
