@Englishwithjennifer Жыл бұрын
Can you please copy the full sentence? "Week" is a countable noun, so we usually an article before a singular noun: a busy week, a week full of meetings, etc. But there are phrases and expressions that don't require the article: week after week. We only use "an" before a vowel sound: an easy week, an amazing week.

Good practice! My suggestions: 1. I practice English every day. / I practice speaking English every day. / I study English every day. / I learn new things in English every day. 2. "Exercise" here refers to physical exercise, for example, riding a bike or swimming. >> I exercise every morning. I take walks. COMPARE: I practice English every day. I always practice through KZbin videos. 3. "Per" is correct, but it's a little more formal. I'd say, "Two or three times a week."

I would like to advise a technique for pronouncing the word 'often.' I'd split it into two words: of ten. I'm not a fan of encouraging the dropping of the 't.' Quite often. Quite of ten I do this quite often. I often encourage correct pronunciation of words. 'Quite' is another word that causes confusion. We often see it confused with 'quiet.' Be quiet as there is quite a lot of concentration required.
@Englishwithjennifer5 жыл бұрын
What do you think is more common in British English? Guess what? I went through the first 5 results on YouGlish for UK and for US. For both varieties, I heard 4 without the T and 1 with. I went really fast just now. Hmm. ;)

@@Englishwithjennifer I must confess to never pronouncing that word without it's 't.'Many spelling errors are born of incorrect pronunciation. I like it when people break up words to emphasize their importance. By doing so, they reveal how to spell the word: Definitely? We must def in itely do it today. Often? I do study of ten. Catastrophic? Not studying would be cat a strophic. Unquestionably? That would be un question ably the wrong course of action. Unnecessary? That is un necessary. Authenticity? We need au then ticity. Sarcophagus? What an amazing sar co phagus this is. Rhododendron? I love rho do dend ron bushes so much! There are exceptions ( I could a would a should a done better) and so many words have silent letters also. They must never be confused for the pronunciation of all the letters in a word.
