1. It helps that coach Iakovou was a World champion weightlifter himself, a participant in three Olympics and already a successful businessman. He had walked the walk. Let's just say he knew what he was talking about. Respect and loyalty is earned.

The bigger problem with coaching in the states is everyone became an expert overnight and think they can lead athletes to victory. Most of them couldn’t program to save their own life.

This channel is great. As a high school all around athlete you guys do a great job with supplying information on workouts and nutrition. Every time I need information you guys usually have a video on it. Keep up the great work. One suggestion is a Garage strength app.

That's awesome. I think we're a bit far from making an app, but that is a great idea. Thank you for the suggestion 💪

What do you mean Pyrros Dimas is the second greatest? He's got the most (4) Oly medals (3 Gold no less) in the history of Oly games.
@koogimees54283 жыл бұрын
Naim Suleymanoglu would have achieved 4 golds had his country not been boycotted from one of the Olympic Games.
@truongsinh99553 жыл бұрын
@@koogimees5428 I agree with you but "Would have" is not fact, while Dimas won the most Oly medals as mentioned in the original post is fact.

@@koogimees5428 in that way pyrros would also have 4 golds if he had make his last attempt in athens

I'm greek but Naim was the strongest ever without a doubt. He was a phenomenon, 1.47cm height and he was lifting like 5 times his weight

Do you have a video on old school weightlifters? I love seeing footage from back then, Zack Telander had a clip of a dude smoking a cig in between lifts😂 not recommended, but supremely badass hahaha

@@emilio556 you don't know anything about this man's life yet you comment about it on yt like you got all the knowledge. His wife died of cancer and he has 4 kids, he isn't a wealthy roid user that just got lazy with time, he is a broken man

Wait so he had bone broth and what’s the other name boliyon?
@zaphod8883 жыл бұрын
It’s bouillon (pronounced “BWEE-yon”, approximately), for some reason Americans pronounce it as if the “i” was after the “ll”.
