For Christ's sake, guilty! I like Chris Stapleton and also the Jompson Brothers as well, but this pearl of ol' traditional today I've heard the first time in my life. 43 year old guy from the pine woods in Brandenburg, Germany, love and listen that kinda music since back to my youth. Traveled through all in all 16 states of the USA. This music touches my heart, really sad Chris didn't continued it. Take care everybody, wish y'all the best and God bless the USA!

❤ this is what true :country" music is. U can call it hillbilly music. Bluegrass or ole'timey porch songs, and that's what the roots of today's music is derived from. From ppl ditting around on their front porch, grabbing a fiddle. a wash board, some spoons to keep the beat, and they sang about the world around them, heartache and hard times because that's all they knew about back then. I grew up on this music, knew Pappy Sherrill and Snuffy Jenkins, old timers nobody's ever heard of these days lol. Ty Steeldrivers I never get tired of listening to it.
