I was there; it was my birthday. Unforgettable. John was in his slippers, barely holding on. It was a beautiful and heart rendering evening.

😃 I love this, what a wonderful group of musicians! Aw, and I just want to hug John... Difficult to believe he's gone... I count myself lucky that I got to see him as much as I did. He was always such a delight. 😏💕

My bluegrass compatriots witnessed John in Colorado several times. On one occasion, John strolled thru the Telluride audience playing to the heavenly delight of all present. 🎻🎻🎻🎻

Love how loose this is but they still keep the thread of the song going. What a great musician and performer RIP John Hartford.

So lovely, but also so sad to see John so frail with his powers so diminished ....

I saw that John was using his index cards as people said he used constantly.

The curly headed guy was so disrespectful, talking and laughing while John played distracting the audience!

That's Sam Bush! He respected and was influenced by John as much as anybody could!
