Honestly, the ending can be summed up with this: Death planned on destroying the whole world once you finished, but instead he thought you were so cool that he rathered play video games with you and hang out with you instead of destroying everything. What an amazingly weird ending to an amazingly weird game.

Steve Radroach I do not believe this is the true ending of the game since it has been confirmed that there are 128 floors. We are supposedly getting 40 more floors in an update soon which this ending eluded to (with death adding an addition to the console which created an incomplete pyramid). Expect more from the story as the game continues to progress.

To be honest, I never finished the game. I've held up my curiosity up until now, but I couldn't manage not knowing what would be atop the tower. I don't know what I expected, but it certainly wasn't this. What a weird game.
