Our public television station did a special on his life. He wrote all the words to the songs he sang. Not too many entertainers can do that. He also started entertaining at the beginning of rock and roll. He was one of a kind...so talented.

He was among the greatest rockers. He loved what he did. He got his band for each gig at the local musicians union hall and he worked 15 or 20 minutes with them before going on. And you know he had the money in his pocket before he hit the stage. One of a kind.
