Sike! Anthony was actually doing this video with a blindfold on this whole time, in fact, that footage of him is actually fake; what he in reality did was prerecord the lines in his studio then later lipsync them to footage of his being. Thus, Radiohead is not in the list.

@@RevRyukin7 "Boohoo I don't like Drake and he fuckin sucks" Congratulations. I don't like Drake either but Tyler being able to get that big of an artist on his stage shows how much Tyler's succeeded in the industry. Tyler likes Drake and wanted to surprise his fans with Drake. I can bet that most fans in the crowd weren't even Drake fans, but were just enjoying the moment. Now you have self-entitled fans thinking that because it was rumored that Frank Ocean was gonna perform, that Frank has to perform. It's reasonable that Tyler got annoyed by the fans that booed Drake for performing because he wanted to give his fans a treat, he didn't "fuck up."
@dahadahaful
@dahadahaful 5 жыл бұрын
Wink Wink Nudge Nudge people paid money to see Tyler’s show. They did not pay to see drake. If this was a charity show, sure you can’t complain.. but what if he brought in Justin Beiber and people booed? I’d fucking boo too if I was at a show and someone brought on an artist that I hated. He has the responsibility to put on a show to his audience that people actually want to see. This is his fault 100%.

yep. The excuses have already begun. You have to love the subtle hipster condescenion: 'oh, rap community too stupid to borrow TPAB's musical ideas.' Nah Fantano. The reality is that TPAB is a shit album. Always was. No one but White critics outside the culture cared for that album. Drake's ideas spread more because he makes actual hip hop from time to time, is far more innovative in hip hop than Kendrick will ever be, and is top 2 rapper of this entire decade.

tochiRTA more hip hop 💀 hip hop is about expression and putting ideas out there in art drake makes way more commercial records with less substance and to much of his stuff is either attempting to sound hard or being way to soft with nothing else to the record . 2016. I was 19 and my girlfriend had just cheated on me. I’ll never forget being super depressed for the first time in my life and resorting to weed just to help me think about anything else. I got super drunk with the boys, that same night my girlfriend left me, hit the cross fade, and listened to Atrocity Exhibition at midnight on release. I’ll never forget being absolutely gob smacked by that album. I was glued to my friends back seat of his Elantra for almost an hour, just listening to the album and getting chills down my spine. It came to an end and I opened the door to my friends car and threw up Doritos locos tacos all over my new sneakers. Atrocity Exhibition is a genre bending album, that pushed boundaries. I’ll never forget where I was, what I was wearing, and who I was with when I first heard that album. That’s how you know an album is timeless. Atrocity Exhibition is easily my album of the decade. *Lonerism - Tame Impala* Really popularized the Psychadelic scene and influenced a lot of young new artists. Definitely one of Parker's best works. Lonerism contains the revivalist spirit as well as a new touch to the Psychadelic sound. Parker made efficient use of the technology he had around him at the time. This album is so flavourful, so many layers, so many raw indescribable emotions. It contains the classic elements of a Psychadelic album. It's depth, tone, and experimentation with sound. Definitely one of the best albums of the 2010s. Even vice declared Kevin Parker as the artist of the decade. PS: I was also considering Currents, when it came in terms of sound. Definitely one of his most unique and ambitious projects. Currents also brought a whole new meaning to the term Psychadelia. It was Disco, Funk, and RnB infused Psychadelic music. Sonically it's truly a one of a kind sound. 70s, 80s, and 90s, used to shift the sound of 2015.

Alessandro Fusari I totally agree. It goes so far beyond being just a “great album”. The album is so emotional - “I need you” is one of the most devastating songs I’ve ever heard. The album breaks you down, and then builds you up higher than you were before. And I think that’s what art is supposed to do. Cave found a way to take something so horrible and make it beautiful. I just can’t say enough about that album. Every time I listen to it, I’m just astounded.

@@jonasrattle9208 I'd actually say the opposite. In all my years of listening to Hip Hop I really haven't come across a rap album that, sonically speaking, incorporates so many elements of other genres and still manages to come across as one cohesive album other than TPAB. Lyrically and conceptually speaking I'd say Lupe Fiasco's Tetsuo & Youth and DROGAS Wave trumps TPAB. I'd throw Aesop Rock's The Impossible Kid in there as well as one of those albums. Not to belittle TPAB or anything but that's the way I feel. Conceptually and lyrically speaking TPAB is still a fantastic album.

Whenever someone says “influential,” you always limit it to music. As in, other ARTISTS, take ideas (unique aspects of music not a message) and sounds from someone or something and incorporate them in their own music. I think when the TPAB guy was calling it influential he was talking about how it influenced the listener with its ideas (message not unique aspects of music). when someone said “logic is more influential than Kendrick,” though i don’t agree with this, I think you completely disregarded the argument. Of course logic hasn’t influenced other artists, let alone influenced them like Kendrick. He’s definitely influenced an audience.
@gabe17gamer
@gabe17gamer 5 жыл бұрын
disagree with logic analogy but it's a very good point. plus the wave of jazz rap which kendrick influenced with tpab, from mainstream artists like cole and logic to underground rappers like mick jenkins and saba, the TPAB influence can be seen in a lot of rap
