Ohh you reminded me of when i got the NES on 1987 Christmas Eve, my older brother got an Atari 2600, my second oldest brother got a Commodore 64, so it was the time to get me a little present, me opening the box of the device was the biggest joy i had in my childhood, i played a lot of Mario i was so happy, glad i didn't grow up with sega like my 2 younger brothers were (Sega mega drive, Sega Genesis), I'll never forgot that Mario theme.

You can hook up the NES Four Score or the NES Satellite if you want to play with 4 Players. The Expansion Port on the bottom was originally for the NES Disk System but it was never released outside of Japan. The NES Zapper does work only on CRT TV’s, there’s another games like Hogan’s Alley and Gotcha ! The Sport which works with the Zapper. I have the NES Classic Edition, btw but not the original NES
@QuietNerd4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the great information :D! yes i figured the zapper only works with crt's. Oh nice! Good to know there is other games that work with the zapper :D. Thanks for stopping by and have yourself a lovely day :D!

Quiet Nerd. No probs. I’d like to mention that “Don’t blow on the cartridge” cause it will get moist inside, I would recommend clean the contacts of your NES Cartridge with Alcohol and Earbuds or Q-tips to clean it. Also incase if the NES doesn’t work and there’s nothing wrong with the contacts of your cartridge, disassemble your NES is the way, to check if the 72-Pin Connectors are loose or broken, I would recommend a product called “Blinking Light Win”, it’s a product that replace the NES 72-Pin Connector and Loading Tray, you insert the game horizontally instead of at an angle and you don’t have to push down on the cartridge to make it work. Check out the video of the Blinking Light win from a KZbin Channel called “Gaming Historian” to learn all about it.

the Duck hunt should work with any screen. when you press the trigger there is black screen and white square where is duck is. if the gun is aimed to the square, the light should be focused into the gun.

Just saying that little attachment on the bottom was supposed to be for future accessories. In Japan they released the Famicom CD which attached to the bottom of the system. It never released in America, so I guess they were planning to release that in the US but they never did.

This game system is what started the couch potatoe kids, every boy I knew had and,one of my sons was obsessed at two yrs old with Mario bros. It was hard to get him outside after this came out. We got ours in 1993 he still has one today. My favorite is Legend of Zelda. I refuse to play the new systems cause I'm OLD SCHOOL.
