i like to think in a little headcannon of mine, that, Oz has so much of a soft spot for Jaune not only bc he was friends with him as Lewis and the Rusted Knight, but also because Jaune is some sort of reincarnation of an old friend of Oz, maybe the reincarnation of the knight of the great war or his grandfather who could be the same knight/king we see so much

I've always liked Jaune and I always will! Loved hearing about Jaune's journey. I also very much think Ozpin was Lewis. The Fairy Tales in the World are just his experiences in his past lives. But that really begs the Question that Ozpin knows A LOT more than he's let on and might have actually had a plan that he couldn't tell anyone do to needing things to go a certain way to defeat Salem. Like Atlas had to fall to gather Humanity in Vacuo so that when Salem Summons the Gods it'll be revealed that all of Humanity IS united against her.

It does all seem to generally line up and has for a while, all these little details just keep stacking. Hopefully Oz has a fully formed plan this time especially if it's at the cost of not telling everyone the complete truth yet again.

If Oz is lying about not knowing about the ever after, I wonder what his motive is. I wonder if he's ever actually used the crown of choice before and if he saw anything related to the events of the story.

Got mixed feelings on this one. Jaune’s reintegration into society is an interesting topic, but one I’d prefer to see handled in an actual V10. I was kinda hoping Beyond would just focus on side characters. But what you said about the availability of voice actors makes a lot of sense, I hadn’t considered that.

I believed Ozma when he said he didn't know what happened to RWBY, he obviously did, he and the maidens can create these portals to the void whenever they want.

well, this explains exactly why Ozpin allowed Jaune into Beacon, especially if he knew he met him in the past in the Ever After as a huntsman.

Vacuo being the last holdout of man seems off to me. Isn't Vale fine? Tai said it was and only the school was out of control but those are separate places. Did Mistral fall? The school was attacked but the city around it seemed fine. Patch is out of the way and Argus is well protected and the largest settlement outside the kingdoms. There's just no indication that Salem's forces are rampaging across the land. Also I don't fully buy into the whole Ozpin was Lewis thing. When Oscar is quoting The Girl Who Fell Through The World in Volume 8, Ozpin saying he's lived through his share of them is probably alluding to him being the Wizard in the Story of the Seasons. But that whole story could be a veiled interpretation of what happened in The Lost Fable. Also Lewis doesn't follow the whole Ozma, Ozpin, Oscar naming convention.

Normally, I don't like Jaune centered stuff, but imo the writing and dialogue in this was immaculate. I just want to give whoever was involved in making this episode a big kiss on the lips, I loved it.

I thought it was a waste of time and I'm sick and tired of hearing how jaun feeling. This series so far is terrible imo.

To each their own but given that it updates us on not just how a main character is dong as well as the entire settlement and the status of several important secondary characters plus building details for the possible future and hint at further lore and character motivations, I'm not sure how it could be considered a waste of time. It very effectively used all of it's time to get a lot of information across in only a few minutes. If none of that information interests you then so be it, but it's doing what it set out to do so far.
