Sometimes with those "crack" books, I kind of skim them to see if they get better, find out what happens at the end, etc. Or I skip to the end and read the last bit and find out if it was worth it, then read in between if it's interesting enough. You don't have to waste time fully reading it but you still get the benefit of seeing what happens at least. "Successful in our unsuccessfulness" is my new favorite Emily quote. I'm glad you were able to unclutter your shelf that much!

@@BookswithEmilyFox I thought you'd done some videos about spoiling endings to books you never want to finish? Maybe before you take that DNF stack to the library book sale and get rid of it, you can take the ones you are more curious about and actually read the last chapter or whatever you think is appropriate. If I recall correctly, and am not thinking of a different video, you were looking up spoilers. So actually reading the last chapter would be different than looking it up. A "read the last chapter" video would be just as fun to watch as the "read the first chapter" videos!

I’m sure it’s frustrating/ boring to attempt reading a bunch of books you’re not enjoying, but I really enjoy this challenge! Really inspires me to read from my shelf, and a nice change within the book tube community

Love this challenge. Don't feel guilty about only partially reading them. I was thinking on way you could adapt the challenge is you could read a first chapter until you find one that you're interested in! That way you may end up getting rid of more books

Mara Dyer was an interesting series. I didn't love it like everyone else seemed to, but it was a quick read that I couldn't put down. I read the whole trilogy really quickly. I bought the spin off series, but haven't touched it yet.
