I make my salmon patties with diced onions, a couple of eggs, some self-rising flour and a little bit of buttermilk to moisten them unless I use the juice from the can. I sometimes I add a little lemon pepper to the mix before frying.

I just found your channel a week or so ago and I just think you are great!!!! I have never made salmon patties but I think I will try them...or maybe use tuna instead. And what a great idea for the slaw mix! Thanks and I will contine to watch you. We are in a deep freeze here in southeast PA...not fun!

I’m going to make that fruit salad hopefully today and the cole slaw. I’ll make the salmon patties maybe Friday for dinner. I made the fried corn tortillas with refried beans toco meat and other taco toppings last night. It was delicious. I was trying to figure out what to use my package of corn tortillas that I had in my freezer forever. I’ll probably make more tonight for dinner. You are helping me make some different things instead of the same old things I always make. Your channel is my absolute favorite. I only wish you had one every day but I don’t want you to overdo it so I’ll watch some of your old videos. Thank you !

When you said you just keep coming back to toast… us too right now! It’s because it’s warm, easy, comforting and delicious! I get sourdough from Aldi’s and we go through multiple loaves each week (family of 5).

My whole family loves salmon patties. When the kids (5) were growing up, it would take 3 cans for all 7 of us. I didn't mind at all. So delicious. It would give me 15 big patties. Sometimes if there was one left over my hubby would take a salmon patty sandwich in his lunch. I love your crushing technology. Same a me. 🤣🤣🥰

I grew up on salmon patties and I still love 'em. My mom made them with crackers or matzo meal, a pinch of diced onion, and she separated two eggs and beat up the whites until they were "snow," then mixed them in with the rest. She served them with something she called Baked Spaghetti Casserole, which is a fantastic dish as a main dish or a side. It consists of spaghetti, butter, a can of tomato soup, some green pepper, some diced tomato, milk, egg, salt, paprika and shredded American cheese. You bake it and it comes out solid so you can slice it up. Can also be eaten cold. Very budget friendly and very delicious. Thanks for another awesome video! ~Tobi in NC

Hi Robin, when I saw your bag of slaw, I thought sauerkraut time! Normally I shred a head of cabbage and add 2 TBSP salt and let it sit on the countertop for 10 days. Before you know it, you have sauerkraut! Great tip for the lemon on the fruit. I never have made salmon patties but love to eat them. Thank you for showing me.

People always think this is strange when I suggest they make salmon or tuna patties out of cold leftover cream potatoes. My mother would do this, and add chopped fresh parsley, green onions, an egg. Mix all together then bread them in flour…shallow fry them in a little oil and butter mixture until done. We seemed to have these a lot in the summer with a lot of fresh vegetables. I don’t think my poor mother ever got even one of these, because my brother would eat them as fast as she made them! lol. My son does the same thing with me when I make homemade fried pies. Have you ever tried freezing your vinegar slaw? Look up recipes for freezer slaw…this is what a lot of restaurants do so their products do not go bad. I made it once and loved it! I bet if you look at the ingredients and recipes ( except the drink mix), you will find them very close and might be able to preserve it in containers the size you want , instead of large amounts. Just an idea. Also, try adding in a little bit of baby marshmallows to your fruit salad along with a little bit of coconut and you have a version of ambrosia.
