Welcome to episode 11 in my 10 Minute Blender Modeling challenge. This time it's my biggest challenge yet as I try to model a low poly pirate as well as making it fully rigged with full body control, foot roll, finger control, forward and inverse kinematic for both legs and arms! I hope you enjoy this episode - you can download the model here: www.dropbox.co...
I use Blender 2.82 with the Rigify addon (included with Blender, you just have to enable it in preferences).
Stay until the end of the video for 4 Blender tips this week! Take care everyone!
Here is a link to the palette texture that I used: lospec.com/pal... it's called pinapple from the lospec site.

Also, I just ran across your channel. Do you do these type lo poly videos slower from the start for people to follow? Or are they all speed modeling videos? Something like this video but slowed down would be real helpful to people.

Hi! Thanks =) There are some bones that you are not allowed to delete. If you try to delete a single face bone it won't allow you unless you remove the entire face as far as I know. With the hands, it seems that fingers are OK to get rid of if you delete the entire finger chains. I wish it was possible to delete any bone too, especially for the face as I'd like to just keep eyebrows for example.

This is absolutely awesome, I came here to learn how to get to proportional mode in blender 2.82. I'm really new at blender and even newer at animating and rigging characters. I am extremely happy I stumbled across this video because out of the many many blender tutorials I have watched, I have never even seen anyone using proportional mode editing and creating a hand that easily or shaping the head. Also I didn't know about enabling rigify in the addons until your popup. I'm trying to animate some low poly trees though. Thanks for the video!
