We finally get to play a game of Fallout: Wasteland Warfare; the new miniature tabletop game from Modiphius.
For this game we're playing a co-operative scenario - Into The Sewer. With the help of some friendly super mutants, Codsworth and Piper must find the keys to unlock the sewer and escape from a company of Brotherhood of Steel.

Love it! I cant wait to get hold of all my stuff and start playing, Coop vs. a challenging and flexible AI is exactly what was missing for my wife and me in a miniature game. The rules look really intuitive and easy to learn once you get behind the colors and symbols used. I am looking forward for more videos.

Really enjoying this game. Works better as a cooperative adventure game than a head to head wargame so far. Seeing a lot of comments about it being difficult to understand which I don't think is true, and there's a depth in the ruleset that allows for a much greater range of play than many of the simpler games out there.

Nice game. I’m also waiting for my copy and I have never played wargames before. However, I’m a bit afraid that there are so many thing to remember so it very easy to forget something. I will probably use my dices on the character's card to count the health instead of placing the counters near the model. I’m not sure but I would like to have more flavor events like the first one instead of constantly changing weather effects. That’s a pity that the stranger card from the event of the round two hasn’t been revealed I wonder what it could exactly be. I’m more old school fan so I’m looking forward to the wave 2 with raiders and of course T-51b.

per minute 36:46 langer, gets 2 stars from the blue die. what is meant by "attack carefuly" and shooting ... does it mean that you are preparing for a reaction, or are you obliged to shoot twice?

I think that you guys forgot the 2 armor pen with the opening rocket shot vs. Danse. 3 Damage was going his way, his armor was reduced to 1+1, and you rolled a 3. End result? 2 Damage to Danse.

that is a thing i love FWW for you're not bound to the sole survivor onlly you can play what ever you like to also you can choose to play alone too which is not so common for a tabletop through the AI (as far as i know, been cold out of TT for a long time) So you actually CAN use a quickaction at any time or is that only on Heroic Figures and normal as well ? lol "it just says: Brotherhood of Ste.." lmao Piper catch the money and waves chearing to Danse, than a electrical charge cracks through the air and and piper sinks headlees down while she turns to asches lol Cars can explode here too ? 😏 quite nice to know. Very amusing and much informative, i got a good look on the working of AI very nice.

Hi there!!!i would have some question: when you are behind an obstacle, you get cover, is assigned -2 ​​to what? to attack rolls or defense shots? at 34:27, is in coverage but suffers 1 damage, why? at the beginning of the game, how do I assign weapons and armor to both my characters and AI creatures?

The attacker gets -2 for the white dice making it more difficult to hit. On this situation you depend more on the green dice. Also cover gives +1 to the defender when using the red save dice.

at ~18:47 (rocket) 3+1 = 4 (armor) -2 (armor penetration) = 2 armor; 3 damage - 2 reduction = danse should have taken 1 damage?

Actually with the armor reduction of 2. Considering Danse armor rating of 3+1 (3 being base armor, +1 being strong armor which always blocks) It would've been 3 (base armor) - 2 (armor reduction) =1. +1 (strong armor). So new armor is 1+1. They actually messed up. They minus the armor for the soldiers but not for danse. Being that they rolled a 3 (over the armor rating of 1) he doesnt block anything but the +1 would come in and still block one (0 + 1). So in reality Danse should've took 2 damage. 0 (armor after roll) +1 (strong armor bonus) - 3 (damage taken) = 2 (damage points)

Where is the terrain from? The sedan is from Modiphius own range but how bout then fences etc? I need stuff like that to make my board look better

It's from the same company that actually makes their Red Rocket set - Battle Systems. They have an Urban Apocalypse set that works really well with the game minus the game mat (2' vs 3').

When I played WOTC Star Wars we use to put the damage and tokens to the card.

i think there are too many tokens placed onto the characters on the board. that means you have a lot of items to move every time you move a character. can they be placed on the cards instead?

Probably. X-Wing is sort of the same way. Some people are totally OK with putting some tokens on the card, others not so much. In X-Wing the damage tokens *always* go on the card. I definitely think you could do the same here and no one would care. Other stuff, like activation markers, might be better by the model so whoever you're playing with/against can more easily see who is yet to go.

you are right. i think the difference is that this board has lots of scenery and with the tokens becomes cluttered. sw is typically a blank space with a few asteroids

yeah been an issue I've seen since they first play tested. I'm not sure if there's a card for each model though (some being the same unit) but I'm personally thinking of doing a colour code system for the edge of the bases to keep track off board.

most of the token are unessecary for playing a simple game. it's good to show them on a video but you wont use 80% of them if you have experience with a tabletop game

not really, the reason is because the cards represent a class/job, not the players on the field themselves, which means if you have two of the same exact unit, it uses the same card, so it can be confusing, i suppose if you create a method of organizing them around the card for different units then a house rule could be made.

Mat Mem They tried to be unique for the sake of uniqueness. A good wargame flows. You don’t have to stop and think “what does two soda bottles mean again? Which color on the range stick is it?”

I see these kinds of complaints on nearly every wargame. The only ones I don't are those that are clones of another wargame the player has already played. Rules are always a headache until you get used to them. Then they become second nature.

TechnoGolem Not always. I’m reading through a beta rulebook for a game coming out called Core Space. Simple, easy to follow and most importantly not something that would deter someone you’re trying to introduce to the game. These rules are complicated for the sake of being “different”. This game won’t be around in a year.
