A handy way to get money is to sell any vitamins (Iron, Protein, Carbos, HP Up etc) as they go for 4800 Pokedollars apiece. I can also give you a list (though maybe not a comprehensive one) of where you can find Nuggets and Big Pearls.

Actually Silver's Golbat does eventually evolve into a Crobat with his last fight at the Pokemon League. He also offers to return his starter to Professor Elm but it's too attached to him, and something similar happens with his Sneasel.

i always thought it stayed a golbat, to show how he first treated his pokemon, i have not faced him after the pokemon league before so i was not aware
