If you're hauling water, any job below that that requires water, like farming, WILL NEVER GET DONE. Because as soon as they pick up water to tend to the farms, their HAULING WATER JOB KICKS IN, coz they have water in their inventory, and they will haul it to the water tank. This holds true for any jobs that uses materials that are hauled. So to prevent this, hauling jobs MUST BE BELOW any jobs that might require said material.

Same thing for putting away plates food ect they pick up electrical components for engineering then put away material kicks in and they put away then engineering kicks in and they take out now they are in a buggy loop where they take out and put away

Why does he put so few people on his 40 farms but has 3 ppl working on one copper node?

Some tips. Get yourself the "copper drill mod" it's pretty lore friendly and if you can get ore drills you should be able to drill for copper. It makes you able to contain your production in your base. You will need more wells you have quite some farms set up, and water is needed when you are cooking. Just get 2-3 wells and you will be fine. By the way you forgot the bolts in your base back in Squin. Love the series

You can give katanas as secondary weapons, so even the heavy weapon and crossbow units can use them. they're better than the rusty sticks you currently have equipped.

Getting katanas on all of them might be the best choice at this stage, using heavy weapons with low strenght is also not optimal since you need strenght equal to double the weight of a weapon to properly weild it (if i remember correctly)

I discovered that with bounties that if you keep them too long they lose their bounty... guess waisting time to craft them prison outfits was a bit overkill on the RP front 😂 I like to reform my captives, convince them to change their ways, then after they’ve joined my I turn them in and pay off their fine. Because of the angle of the wall to the left of the inner gate the turrets and crossbow on that wall become pretty useless once the main gate falls

Just like with your own characters, bounties under 10k disappear after... Like, a few days. You can note down exactly how long it takes by taking somebody with a bounty on them to the area where they are wanted and it will say when mousing over the bounty amount :)

I remember catching a lot of small bounties (thanks to a mod I have) at around 1k and they usually disappear at around 2-3 days or something, so that'd would add upp I think :) Also good to know that a bounty AT 10k will disappear, I thought as soon as you reached 10k it was permanent :P

I have most of my characters carrying a large thieves back pack and traders pack. They don't have to remove the thieves backpack for combat or stealth and the traders pack allows for stacking items.

Don't forget that you can upgrade your existing farms from small to medium and then to large, which then will produce more crops.

Im still catching up but i really hope you start using katanas soon. You've really been screwing yourself over longterm with your weapon choices. You need to use katanas for a long time because theyre the best weapons for training dexterity. Dex affects your swing and block speed with all weapons, and the xp for it is governed by cut damage to blunt damage, thus katanas are the best since they are cutting damage only. Please get some wakazashis,katanas or nodachis soon. Your characters will be completely fucked against all the mid and end game enemies if you keep using weapons like quarter staffs which give little to no dexterity experience. It doesnt matter how strong or how good your attack is if your dexterity is too low to ever get a swing off before you get hit. Use katanas till your dex is at least 30-40. If you want really good warriors id reccomend using katanas only until at least 50 dex. Paladins and high paladins have 40+ dex. I want sand and his people to have a fighting chance, and to do so they need to get better at swinging a proper sword, not bashing people with quarterstaffs. It will really pay off when you swap to polearms,hackers and heavy weapons.

Oh god sand has 4 dexterity. You really need to work on that. Sand will swing weapons slower than a hungry bandit...

The spring bats dps is higher than the eagles cross due to the quality, always go with the highest quality (unless it's junk bows or toothpicks, they just suck anyways).

Once all the farms are completed, it could be a good idea to actually delete and redo all your farmers jobs. You could also make them work on the fields in reverse order to one another. Also, i think you should build one or two additional wells

The blades do have a quality, the name at the bottom of the blade (Not the maker's name but the product name) indicates its quality. In this instance, it is Catun no.2 Which means it is the second highest level of blade quality in the Catun line. Most blade lines have a1 - 3 level gradient, with the third level being the highest of its class.

Also, when environments get little cramped, pathing issues can arise, this is what you saw when you were trying to construct the searchlights. The actual fix for this is either reloading the save or manually putting resources into your workers and telling them to work on a specific building or target. This has in the past "reset" their pathing. It also may be a prioritizing issue with the number of jobs you have on some workers, they may get confused as to what they have to prioritize next.

I'm having a hard time keeping up now with all your content, what a luxurious problem to have! Spoilers for the episode is as follows: 1) I could actually tell the difference between Hobbs and Green when you had them talking like that to each other. 2) IIRC, Gohan is actually the most effective for Cats per NU, but that's not available everywhere as you can see. 3) Your people need actual shirt armor mate :D 4) You really should get an electrical component workbench, since it increases science a.k.a. research speed. 5) And you did got one! Neat! 6) Those guardless katanas are better than quite a lot of weapons, it's the standard sidearm for anyone basically. I can't remember offhand what your guys got atm. Hell, even your laborers would be well-equipped :P 7) ...Now that you said that the base looks like a fish I can't unsee it. Damnit Rycon :D 8) You should probably think about adding some more wind turbines with that steel refinery. 9) Aye, you could definitely use another Iron refinery I'd say :v 10) Hong could use a better sidearm! 11) Not weapons skill, strength! You can efficiently use weapons below half your strength (and most weapons but especially blunt weapons get ridiculously heavy, like, no, you won't ever swing around something that weighs 30kgs as a weapon but eh, it's an entirely different universe so who knows really). But using weapons that are too heavy for you is a good way to get stronger faster :) 12) The wonders of technology! Such a great invention, the ore drill. 13) Dogmeat is fricking beast!

The ancient science books for sales in World end are not renewable, you will not find any again (unless you re import the world). There is one or two places were you can buy advanced science (including engineering and AI core) in limited number, but again not renewable. The main source is in the ruins.

I know I'm talking into the past at this point but as your base is in an area frequented by dust storms you could look into various gear that provides protection against them, like the goggles you have on Green.

Some buildings allow turrets on the top floor. You could check and see if it would allow you to put a couple on top of your main building facing the gates, in case you needed to retreat into your building during an attack, or perhaps for a couple members you don't want to get hurt because they are not warriors; but, could provide some safe backup up top during a tough fight.

The only think people will automatically got to get from a general storage box/chest is food when they are hungry. Everything else needs to be in its own specific box. Also be careful with medicrate, when people are ditching resorts they will ditch all medical supplies.

Weight of weapons needs to be 1/2 of the ‘strength’ skill to swing as max speed. But if it isn’t they will train up strength faster. Cut damaging weapons train Dex and blunt damaging weapons train STR.

Man Kenshi with multiplayer would be great. As long as it played the same. And servers can choose whatever mods they want. Even if it was an mmo, it would be one I could actually play. Dealing with ai and other player factions would be fun. Of course there would be some changes needed with player faction sizes and trade and camera maybe but everything else could be the same. You just play it till server restart or your characters die.

I know this isn't dwarf fortress but a meeting Hall is pretty important in a roleplay sense. How do you expect your people to live as though they're real people if they can never rest in any way until they absolutely need to. As far as minor tweaks in storytelling goes, you could also get some of them drinking or doing some idle tasks for introductions at some point.(as you can imagine may require you to spend extra cats you wouldn't need to otherwise.) Not everybody wants to live with an empty cup I can only assume. Glad you got a place for them to sit. Now it's more of a home than ever before. I also realize I'm a little behind but I'm not watching these as they come out as I prefer to let these things marinate for a little bit. It's more to watch for me and if you're even still bothering to read this thank you for all your effort.I can only dream to have a KZbin channel somewhat like this.

Can't wait for Sand to get off those Assassin's Rags. The skill bonuses are neat, sure, but it's getting him killed. Poor resistances, even worse coverage and most dammingly a melee defense penalty make for a very unhealthy combination.

You and I seem to be pretty late to this party. I'm no expert on this game. However, I know you're correct. He was woefully under-equipping/training his team for warfare, at this point in his story. Now, with that being said, I'm still loving this series. I don't know how I haven't come across his work prior to now. Even though some of his choices are driving my OCD up the wall. ;)
