I got attacked with my lonely scavenger by that refugee-camp. Crawled up to the outpost, healed up, bought the mercenaries from the bar and went back down. Utterly destroyed the refugee-camp with those guys and ferried everything they had on them back to the bar, which meant every time we went back down the recovered refugees got another beating. In the end I got more than double my money back and everyone in the camp died. They learned not to attack lone and weak travellers that day. This moment made me fall in love with the game after many "here I start a new game.....and I am dead"-moments.

I know, that's what I thought on the first fire when he dismantled it while the last piece was still cooking. It's always the little things. When he bought meat wraps instead of gohan and paid for a bed at the bar in the shop outside of the Hub. I have to say I am really liking the role-play all-in-all though.

@@aceichner When it's something like this I don't mind these mistakes as much. What's the worst is when you watch a video of a streamer who makes a big mistake and never gets corrected by chat. That bugs me. It's like when veteran players still complain about their dudes running in different directions.

And he didn't get any armour for Park from the bandits and try to stole a head piece not having a sleeping bag to heal, having been saying for the last 2 episodes that he needed one. Sorry had to say it, it was bugging mexd Still love how he plays this game and roleplays, I haven't seen a lot of youtubers give this point of view to this game and it makes it so mucho more interesting.

Hey Rycon, quick notice of something you did twice during this episode. You left 'in-progress' meat inside the campfires when deconstructing them. You have to wait for all the progress-bars to complete to get the maximum amount of dried meat out of the campfires.

you should get a mod called "reactive world" I think. They are working on making it so the things you do have actual affects on the world. This would go really well for your playthrough (you can import your game so you dont lose any progress) They have already completed the Holy Empires stuff so you could actually work on killing off the entire country for enslaving you then rebuilding destroyed towns.

well not the citizens, but you can get rid of the faction by getting rid of the leaders. Pretty sure you get to choose which faction takes over after too.

Rycon is literally insane. I struggled greatly with a group of 8 in their mid 30s statswise. Ended up with one half carrying the other half.

You can knock people out, even when sleeping, to remove their chance to spot you stealing their goods. This will raise the chance to 100% while they are knocked out, only a few seconds at low assassination.

Was practically screaming at the monitor when Rycon bought the meatwrap instead of the Gohan last episode. I basically use a little rule for buying food 10cats/1 Nutrition and buy accordingly

To amplify what others have said, if there is a green progress bar on the production side of ANY crafting station, resources have been spent and work has been done. The game warns you of unspent resources but NOT of a partially crafted item.

*Big TIP* Number 2... When in a friendly city, send one person down to agitate all the enemies... i.e. Band of Bones in the exile camp... have them chase you to the friendly city where you can use the guards to attack the enemies... you can either hide or get some practice in as well... and on the top side if some of the guards go down you potentially loot them as well for better gear than the enemies...

Just so you know (in case you didn't and it's not RP) you can store all your goods in your backpack. The characters will still use bandages/bolts/food automatically from within the backpack (provided you have it equipped).

an FYI.at 12 min mark you still had one meat being cooked. the meat being cook does not show up in the inventory but you can see the progression bar moving.

tora the fearless is the leader of the band of bones (hostile) faction. they are at war with the shek kingdoms and i tried attacking her base with about 18 shek in what i thought was decent armor... oh boy i know i'm a savescum but i didnt try it a second time yet

You can cheese Tora (and other single BoB members) to come out of the camp - just lure them over towards the waystations and they will finish off any members that chase you.

Great series, I'm excited to know that now there are 3 weekly episodes to be excited about - 2 from you and 1 from kruggsmash :D Just a few tiny gripes, since you did decide to go for roleplay instead of just regular lets play. Those are your characters and only you get to decide what they know or why they do things, which is why suggesting to the viewer a possible explanation instead of flat out 'stating a fact' doesn't develop the character and can be quite imresion breaking (example for what I mean 19:56 - 22:50). Words/phrases like 'might', 'perhaps', 'he knows because X, or Y' are really unnecessary imo. Also you have superb voice acting and I'd love to see more cinimatic scenes like in the intro (doesn't have to have as high of a quality since I guess it takes quite some time, even just the camera looking at characters talking while the HUD is hidden can do the trick), kinda like the drawings segments in kruggsmash's vidoes. Sorry if I seem critical, I just enjoyed these last episodes very much and would love to see a good series become a great series!

Here is a *BIG TIP* for stealing... especially if you only got one guy sleeping... sneak over and either knock them out or pick them up in their sleep... then you can walk around carrying them while stealing... when you drop them they will be unconscious for a while... or even better you can put them back in the bed...

Two Kenshi eps a week? Awesome! I know Sand’s nowhere near ready to really recruit, but I hope he recruits a Hiver eventually just so we can here you do that voice now and then. Given that he arranged a bed for Hobbs and made sure Park rests before he himself did, I can see this little group really coming to respect Sand as a leader. Yeah, he steals now and then, but he takes care of his own.

Just a tip for regular play: One of the Safer/ Easiest ways to train: Toughness (which is one of the best and difficult stats to get increased early on in the game)/ Martial Arts/ Thievery/ Lock picking/ Assassin/ among others.. Stay a slave for awhile.. While they don't feed you enough to be full, they maintain your food levels high enough to live (at no cost). They supply and treat your wounds indefinitely (at no cost). Attack the guards as often as you want with less risk from getting killed, because they will treat you afterwards (at no cost). I often send my new recruits to slave camps for training. Once they can take out a guard regularly on their own, then I know they are more likely to survive and be helpful to the group.. and! I don't even need to pay for them to be fed or treated medically through the whole process. ; ) Only draw back is: You'll have a high bounty for that faction.. but the 'free' training is worth it. Love your RP video of this. Awesome job! Keep them coming, Please and Thank You! Edit: I'm actually surprised, I haven't found a Tutorial Video yet, of people using the Slave Training method yet.

I might have to try that with a cheap recruit. I'm trying to do a martial arts group, with them only using katanas until they get to 10 dex 10 melee attack, because they. Can't hit much otherwise.

A good alternative is hiring bodyguards and letting them patch you up. This is harder as a skeleton as most mercs carry just first aid. For wanderer and most hub starts you can raise cats for mercs, attack a dust bandit camp or two, then bother the exile camp by instigating the "intruder" dialouge for 1v1s/Xv1s till you clear. The bones wont finish off or pursue after that dialouge if downed, you can go back to waystation to rest(till you cleared or 1v1ed/Xv1ed tora the gutless/fearless). I did the method on x2 chance of death/frequent limb loss so should be good on nomal settings.

Just got into this game and actually really enjoying the base building side of it. Modded the freedom seekers start with a bit of extra cash and built my base just south of the waystation for easy goods runs. (3 iron nodes right next to eachother, so massive iron operation) Pretty hard at the start as i got raided every single day but no one can even get through my gates and 4 mounted turrets anymore :D Loving these series aswell, as i really dont have the patience to start off solo or heavily behind on what is already a hard game

37:20 he could've knocked the sleeping guy out so that the stealing chance would be 100%, it would make sense knocking out a sleeping guy since he can wake up from his sleep if he hears something, and if he's knocked out, he wouldnt be able to, and thats also pretty realistic to what happens in real life

8:10 Seems like your guyz were doing "Friendly Fire" damage because Sand takes a Massive Head damage immediately after a Park swing and that goat didn't do it (and unless the animation didn't get shown of him kicking Sand in the chest with his hind leg)

Melee doesn't friendly fire in this game (crossbows can however). Goats sometimes have kind of wonky animations and they are infamously powerful for being just some tiny little herbivores.

FYI, perception is only for ranged. Stat and skill malus can be useful for training bc xp gain is calculated based on effective level. For example, Hobbs is nat gaining martial arts as fast bc his sleeveless longcoat gives. +4 effective level in martial arts.
