I heard a music journalist say that during a pre-release listen of TMBTE there was a life size Vessel dummy sitting motionless in a chair (just like the star of this video) the whole way through the album play through. Then it stood up and simply walked off.

Vessel composes everything except the drums. Drums are written by II. Vessel also writes all the lyrics. And III (bass) and IV (guitar) play only at live shows

Yh, V and II are writing partners. I also suspect that III and IV also laid down tracks on Tmbte as this is more congruent to how the collective is evolving.

My first Sleep Token song. I think the aesthetics are what initially gripped me, seeing this shrouded ominous figure sitting there like a statue while there are bodies on the floor around him. I expected to hear some heavy Slaughter to Prevail vocals. Not angelic and multilayered vocals that took me places. Only other two bands that have swept me off my feet like Sleep Token has is Gojira and Tool. Fire song. Fire reaction!
