Let's talk about generalized anxiety disorder and post partum with MILA. She was a new mom when I interviewd her and her words were so interesting to me because I could see how we tend to romanticize this experience. This interview has been filmed in Spain, for the MISTAG project to break the mental illness stigma.

Generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) is characterized by excessive, exaggerated anxiety and worry about everyday life events with no obvious reasons for worry. Daily life becomes a constant state of worry, fear, and dread.
Postpartum depression (PPD) is a complex mix of physical, emotional, and behavioral changes that happen in a woman after giving birth. PPD is a form of major depression that has its onset within four weeks after delivery.
