Omg Tara you HAVE to try this cold press juice: 1 Full beetroot 1/2 a stalk of celery Ginger 1 or 2 Green Apple (depending on how sweet you want it) This juice has helped so much with my iron deficiency!! The beetroot is the KEY

OMG 😣 Losing all the editing you already did is so de-motivating! I literally stopped making KZbin videos for a while because my laptop at the time was so old and kept crashing during the editing process and would sometimes lose all my work multiple times during editing one video, it was literally the most frustrating thing! I have a new laptop now, and I have fallen back in love with making and editing videos! 🤍 but losing work can be so upsetting so I totally get how you are feeling! Thank gosh you were able to retrieve it though!

9:30 Tara, what software are you editing on? If it is Premiere Pro, the software automatically saves your file every 15-30 minutes (I think you may even be able to customize the time). You just need to see where your Auto Save folder is and you can go back and retrieve your edits. I am a full time videographer and it has been many, many years since I've lost a full project/edit because of this feature. I would think that Final Cut would also have a feature like this too. Hopefully this helps in the future to save you from having to re-edit!

Tara! This is all hypothetical lol since you’re not moving careers anytime soon haha. But I’m an interior design student (graduating in December) and I’ve been working in the industry for just over a year now. If you enjoy the decoration side and furnishing/colors/ etc interior decoration is probably a bit more suited to you and also less education to get into. Although interior design does encompass that, ID includes space plans, code review, occupancy, construction documents, etc. and honestly that side can be less exciting to deal with.

Totally know the heart ache of losing editing work - if you haven't switched to SSDs when doing your daily editing, I would highly recommend it. Less panic attacks than spinning disk drives. They're lighter too for when you're traveling. The price on them has gone down a bunch so a 4TB is way more affordable.

As a video editor my heart hurt when you talked about losing the whole video 🫠 I'm so afraid of that happening that I save the project every 2 minutes haha about Toronto being a boring city or not, I really wish my hometown was as nice as Toronto. Sadly my whole family lives in this ugly boring city in the south of Brazil so there is not a single chance to go back home in the future.
