The Panama canal has a problem in that the lakes that are used to raise the locks are dropping to critical levels. They have restricted the number of vessels to be allowed through to compensate. It may not be long before they can no longer operate at all. This is not a political issue it's a natural resource issue and the expectation that a natural resource will last forever.

Thank you for the commentary, Belle. The Panama canal has a number of issues. It is no longer large enough for the bigger ships to pass through and there have been water shortages at some of the locks. The Panama canal needs a major overhaul. Infrastructure is not something that Chump does well.
