From what I see on the videos you have three smart, funny, happy and kind boys. In my opinion, this is the biggest testament to your parenting style. I don’t have kids and I can’t even wrap my head around how you do it all. Have nothing but respect for you and your beautiful family❤️

I've been here since Ben was a baby and completely understood and respected your decision when you pulled back on showing the kids. I'm so happy to see them more often again and see them growing,maturing, and thriving. They are kind, intelligent, funny, and creative kids, and all that is a reflection of how they are being parented. ❤

you articulated that part about cancel culture so well and it's so true. people are so quick to point out something that can be blown so out of proportion and they do do that. and it's for what? that one second of validity? idk but yeah, you're right that it's the journey that matters more. we make mistakes and somewhere down the line we realise what we've done wrong, and it doesn't necessarily mean we have to announce to the world that we did. it's enough that we learn from it and move on
@kiara4345 Жыл бұрын
True. I read this story about Matt Damon and how he tells that his daughter corrected him in his use of a word (I believe ¨fagg0t¨, not sure) that he still used as an insult or something like that and how he realised that he actually did not want to use that word anymore and how his child taught him something. And right there, a lot of people canceled him for it, which I thought it was the most absurd thing. Can't a person make mistakes, learn from them? Or do these people who cancel others really believe that using tweets that someone wrote 10 years ago is entirely reasonable? Like do these people think they themselves are perfect and hold firm ground on everything? Ridiculous.

absolutely loved the video, you made such good points and also just seeing you interact with the boys is very inspiring! the dynamic between you, the boys and people around you (Celine is so great!) is awesome. i’ve been a follower for years and never did it occur to me that those videos are bad in one way or another. the type of family content you create is so different from the “problematic” type the discussions are usually about. you’re not filming them every day, you’re not forcing them, you don’t even film them that often. personally, i don’t see how glimpses of a day in a museum can be bad. again, it’s not like their childhood is fully documented and posted online from what i’ve seen, there is a healthy balance to what’s being filmed and very considerate parents ❤️

You seem hypocritical to me, if you really care about children, why don't you think about the children who appear on TV, in movies and in series? A lot more people see those, like the Olsen twins, Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter)... you mess with her because it's the trend right now.
@user-lc4sg3tv1k Жыл бұрын
Hey Laura. These kids are actors. They play someone else. Their private life is not disclosed. I am tired. My "crime", for which I was already flooded with hatred, accusations on my mental health, motivation, and character, including offenses, consists in a little ironic comment, when Valeria was angry about being filmed without being asked. She deliberately decided to be a real life celebrity. Maxi didn't. In all my comments linked to kids' privacy, I have emphasized that my viewpoint is not linked to her content, which I think is great. She can provide fantastic content w/o the kids. I just don't think it's fair for the kids. For instance, would Maxi really want the world to witness his language aquisition process? I didn't want to hurt, just increase awareness. I can tell you that I am exceptionally sorry if my wording was badly chosen, but my statement remains the same. Please take it just as nothing more than a little hint, in case not considered yet. Have a great day!
@Laurajd Жыл бұрын
@@user-lc4sg3tv1k And because they are actors, is that an excuse? Everything is known about the Olsen twins and Daniel, their family, their school, where they are from, where their house is, what they like, whether they pass the course or not, the couples and friends they have, and millions of people know it. The paparazzi follow them even to pee even if they are children, they don't have privacy. You criticize her because she gets offended when a stranger records her, because it's normal to be offended by a stranger! A stranger is not the same as a mother and they are also her children, she is not going to hide them, they are part of her life and she only shows them for a few minutes throughout the video. It amazes me that a youtuber bothers you, that its reach is nothing comparable to child actors that reach millions of people worldwide, but since your comment is not going to reach celebrities, then you mess with Valeria (or any influencer) because it will come to her, simply to hurt her.
@user-lc4sg3tv1k Жыл бұрын
I would say exactly the same if actors private life is exposed in any way. Her point was that she was not *asked* to be filmed by the stranger, and she also didn't ask her kids because Maxi could not even speak back then. Anyway - if you are a pro for kids exposure online, just leave your thumbs up. ❤

Absolutely amazing, positive, kind, smart family. Very inspiring to watch. Content with kids might be relevant for families as Valeria and her family are great role models and showcase healthy relationships. Yet I would agree it might be not very fair to expose the kids before they reached the age of conseous decisionmaking. I would also be safety concerned. Apologizes if this sounds instructional, no intention to interfear in Valeria's personal/professional approach and choices. Thank you for your superb work, Valeria.

I wrote such a comment. And I didn't perceive changes in the kids' exposure on cam, sorry. If I did, I would not have made this comment. I think people can do whatever they want, however, if minors are involved and are part of their endeavours, it's a different story. Children do a lot to please their parents, even w/o knowing. So it's easy to abuse them for ones own endeavours. Even w/o a bad intention (never assumed that with you!). Things that we do not want to hear are not automatically all wrong, toxic, the product of someone's insecurities, mere projections, or a form of "cancel culture". If we use that widespread mindset on SM towards criticism, we stop growing. Wish you well and thanks for your work❤(which is great and I love it!)

Ummm you did. And you need to reread your comment. You’re giving backhanded comments and trying to sound so evolved. And your comments are toxic bc you were projecting and making assumptions about someone’s life that you know nothing about. Just bc you watch some videos she shared that are a fraction of her actual life doesn’t mean you know or have a right to comment on her personal life or choices with her children. If I were you I would keep your negative comments to yourself.

I’m personally against child content on social media but in your case, your channel doesn’t revolve around them. They make some appearances but that’s it. It’s not like these family channels who shove cameras at their kids’ faces right when they wake up or in inconvenient situations like in the bath/bathroom or things like that. Idk but personally it’s very different to have them appear occasionally than them being the main interest of a channel. That being said I don’t think that it’s a bad thing that people sometimes bring back to parents’ minds that their children’s privacy should be protected (as long as these comments are made in a respectful way), some need these reminders!

Social media is kinda new and we can not be sure how it will work out in the future. There are always some advantages and disadvantages, so parents just decide for their kids themselves. And I think in the KZbin family it’s hard not to show kids. And probably you could give them some reality of your job and first followers if they decide to go in this field
@CharmaineEmmaMorris Жыл бұрын
(stopped at 5:55 to say this) But same could be said for the tik-tokers who does the "where's is your watch from" videos. Maybe they are at the same point as you were when you were still figuring the social media landscape and putting the boys in your videos. In a way that, yes they are making money from making those videos but maybe they "don't know better" / don't view it as a violation of privacy, which is why they are "putting" you in their videos. But maybe now,, as your message about these trend of videos being a violation of privacy spreads, they will soon "know better" and (soon) stop producing those videos. So (no offense), in a way you are kinda similar to that commentator, cause you are a stranger to the tik-tokers and you're commenting on them and haven't viewed those tik-tokers "journey" (if they have one to be viewed on tik-tok). Assumption: that those videographers that does the "where is your watch from" videos are tik-tokers. just my 2 cents. still love your content!

I don’t think Apple or society is high jacking children’s brains. Technology is how kids socialize and taking it away only isolates them from friends. Moderation is key. I suggest not calling your son Maxi anymore. As far as social media effecting your kids that’s really a matter of being an example. You’re an extremely loving mom your biggest challenge is having your boys realize your wealth isn’t their wealth and hard work and great grades is EVERYTHING. Go to Boston go to Washington DC take them to learn the basics of America not Fort Lauderdale!
