Weird fact: here in Chile, the "Original" ones are called "American Cut" and are wavy, and years ago (I think they don't do them anymore) we had "Smooth cut" that came in red packaging and had the "Original" cut

I actually did a science experiment about lays chips. Classic, kettle cooked, and baked (I didn't know about wavy's at the time). It was about the amount of grease and from what i remember, classic had the most, kettle cooked was a close second, and baked had basically none.

I've had most of these, but I still find your review entertaining. I had no idea about the Lays Stax. I'll have to look out for them. The Classic Lays, Sour Cream and Onion Lays, and Kettle Cooked Jalepeño are some of the best chips out there.
