With how good the character designs are, you can tell they're a fan of the monsters. Does put this in kind of fanfiction territory, but that's not a bad thing. The decision to include the Felyne speech style shows a commitment to the fandom that has to be appreciated. The world building is questionable with how far this goes and the dialog is a bit repetitive, but if they like the setting as much as they seem to, then I can imagine this getting better over time. Can also see a lot of fans of the Monster Hunter series checking this game out for anthro designs. Afterall, there's gotta be some monster hunter that are also monster fuckers.

Sooo glad you looked at this, one one of my favorite games that I've checked out. I find the pacing to be a bit weird at times and the grammar isn't all there, but it's clear how much love the developers put into this game with the backstories, features, and art. It's so hard not to love this game just for that alone. And yes, Leo is very horny, that's why I love him

I assume when you end up rambling about the two Monster Hunter movies, you are meaning both the live action Monster Hunter movie, and the CGI short movie Legends of the Guild. I've seen them both, so I know what you mean. And also. This game seems very interesting. I might try it out myself. I'm crazy about scalies and well, there's gonna be a lot of them in this {text-based?} game. I've never played a text-based game before, so I might be completely wrong about what type of game it is. But I do love the Monster Hunter universe, and all the games I have played in that universe. EDIT: After checking the link you included in your description, I now know the game is actually a visual novel based game. So, I guess that is similar to a text-based game.

another thing with this kind of writing i find always takes me out of the vibe, is the "how does it feel to look like a monster?' one: if they only live among themselves they wouldnt feel like theyre monsters. theyre just living harmlessly. theres still this weird hiarchy of like human/human adjacent is best and i wish that wasnt a thing in fantacy and two; with how ruthless humans have been through hystory i dont get why as humans we look at an animal that hunts and kills to feed itself and humans get to judge any creature that doesnt look human cuz "ooh scary animal has potential to kill" bruh idk pisses me off anywho cool game overall

i keep adding comments cuz i have differing thoughts through out the video minute 54:11 the dude just described what a sub-species is but it said like this "yeah we are the superior race only we LOOK like inferior fucking ugly ass monsters. we hate ourselves." im pushing it but like this whole time hes really passive aggressive toward himself. also not helped that the protag is also really judgmental and it only serves to prove that in this universe humans or whatever equivalent are still like colonially powerful ig? and have influence like in our reality. to humans monsters are gross and bad and mean. thing is when most of "fantacy" content through out history was mostly comprised of, nature before humans environmental impact of destruction, and mostly double speak for mad xenophobia, anti blackness, fatphobia, transphobia ablism, colonialism, etc dude. i have lots of trouble with the way all fantacy needs to be literally systemically structured to function. yet i have to pretend for the shaky plot that there are no systemic issues we face in reality being represented in this kind of fantacy content i consume. IMPOSSIBLE the thought process was like "ok lets make a story where only superior people like us look amazing no matter the context, and everyone we dont like, we can make fun of by portraying them in horrific ways and then those little stories will effect the way entire future societies interact with those we portraid tin a negative light to further systems of oppression." and this obviously applies to fiction of today. good thing im only here for buff monsters
