You might get really into Street Fighter if you read the comics by Udon. The world isn't as grim as looking at the individual characters would suggest, and even they know how to have a good time (even if Ryu needs to be prodded by Ken to do so, such as surfing or using the internet). Even Cammy's life has its lighter side--she loves cats, hangs out with friends, and likes dressing up. Check out my reaction to it--I love Cammy so I expounded quite a bit on her history and powers. DB used some retconned stuff too. Nothing that would affect the battle, but things like her age (the years have been removed from SF canon) and who awakened her true self (now it's no longer Dhalsim but Rose, who you may remember from the Bison video). But yeah, SF isn't all gloom and doom. Heck, it has characters like Rainbow Mika, who's a wrestling superstar who enters the tournament to fight her idol; Sakura Kasugano, who got into fighting out of sheer glee (and managed to surpass Dan in literally about three hours); Karin Kanzuki, who got into it because she just really frickin hates Sakura; Laura Masuda, who entered for the heck of it (yeah and to prove their dojo's strength but mostly for the heck of it); El Fuerte, a luchador chef who entered to find HIS idol (Mika); Zangief, who as you remember from his DB entered because of patriotism (I know his appearance in Wreck-It Ralph had him as a bad guy but he isn't, and times he's worked for bad guys have been because he gets tricked easily); and Rufus, who basically wanted to impress his girlfriend. Heck, frickin POKÉMON has darker characters than that (and boy howdy does it! But this isn't the place to discuss them).

This was an enjoyable Death Battle and I was correct with Sonya winning against Cammy considering that when this episode aired for First Members, it was on my birthday just five days ago. But I'm more interested in the next fight considering that I'm not at all familiar with Overwatch and Team Fortress 2 so I don't know too much about Tracer and Scout.

Great to see another reaction from you, Ris. I also enjoyed hearing your civil critique of the Death Battle. It's well explained and polite, a far cry from many viewers on KZbin. I too agree that Sonya called for her drone very early. Given that she was stated to have a decade of military experience, it would have made more sense to wait for an opportunity to use her drone when Cammy was vulnerable. Revealing trump cards early isn't the smartest move to make in a Death Battle. Anyways, keep up the great reactions.

Nah, just the truth. Ya could see Sonya's victory coming just from facts like she's M.K while Cammy's S.F plus Sonya's description but the battle itself totally made up for it. Won't deny t'was a bummer ta see Chun Li's bad-ass sister getting ripped in half but... least we got a satisfying battle, no ?? Plus the promise of an Overwatch character is quite interesting.

A few things to say about this episode. 1. I enjoyed the analysis but the animation I felt was crappy. They gave voices to the other 2D fights but couldn't for this one? So they use voice clips from them in their games and its awkward how they don't even seem like they are talking to each other even when they were. I also don't like how they had that blue aura for Sonya when that doesn't seem like a thing MK characters would have, that seems like a SF thing and it seemed really stupid to me. 2. I agree with the result because Sonya isn't a slouch by any means and has a large amount of weapons while Cammy just has throwing knives but the fact that they falsely claimed Sonya can break steel annoyed me. Test Your Might is simply a minigame, any character is capable of winning it as long as the player is good at it so it shouldn't be taken as a feat. The weakest character in MK, Mokap, is a dude who is in a motion capture suit and is a normal guy, even he could break steel as long as the player was good at Test Your Might, hence that feat is bullshit. To be fair though they said Cammy can break a car with her bare hands because of the minigame which is equally stupid but still. Minigame where any character can win in and game play mechanics that have to keep things balanced should not be applicable as feats and facts. Scorpion is capable of beating up Superman within two MK games but in actuality Scorpion couldn't touch him, the games just have to make it fair. 3. From what people are saying, Tracer is fighting Scout, I am curious about that so I am somewhat excited. Seen fan made Death Battles that show that the TF Mercenaries are stronger than they seem and I am sure Tracer is impressive so should be a good fight. 4. If you are wondering about the Deadpool thing Ris, basically in the Marvel Universe, Death is an actual person who usually takes on a female form. Death is in love with Deadpool, Thanos is in love with Death, thus there is a love triangle between these three and that is likely what the video is talking about. Also, apparently Thanos cursed Deadpool to never die so unless that was taken away, there was literally no way for Deathstroke to win in Death Battle.

When Sonya revealed her drone the way she did, I don't think it was revealing her "ace in the hole". To me it was a very smart tactic meant to distract Cammy. As she would then have to keep track of both Sonya and the drone it would give Sonya the opportunity to use her real "ace in the hole", the stun grenade.

About the comments for the upcoming Tracer Vs Scout battle... GUYS it's not JUST about speed! "Weapons, Armor AND skills" Yes whoever is faster will be a factor in the fight but it doesn't decide the victor. THINK - Tracers weapons, her recall, her way of fighting. Scouts weapons, power ups and attitude to battle. Everything is taken into account, not just who can run faster than the other. With that being said - I think Tracer is going to win, purely because of her recall ability (it recalls the damage she took within a certain amount of time). I do think that scout can dish out more damage than tracer, but that recall ability is such a boon for tracer.

Have to give it to the Scout for next go round. Tracer has experience in combat, but the Scout does as well. There is also the fact that Scout is strong enough to take down a Heavy using only melee, and is faster than Tracer. Tracer has Blinks, Recall, Pistols and a Pulse Bomb. However, the Scout has his Stock weapons (Being a Scattergun, Pistol and Bat, which gives him more offensive presence already) alongside many unique weapons, and a way to go invincible, increase damage and heal (Through Bonk!, Crit-A-Cola, and Mad Milk). Adding the fact that if Tracer's Chronal Accelerator (AKA the thing on her chest) is damaged too badly, she will be unable to control her abilities. Given these, I feel as though Scout will win.

I'm not sure about that. Scout may be faster, but overall fitness should be Tracer better. Scout has the more versitil e weaponary, but he has to switch between them (and if i remember corectly, he can't attack, while be invincible), while Trace can use her smaller equipement way smoothly plus her weapons have the tecnical edge. Both have battle expierence, but only Tracer had real training, while he is still regarded among the other classes as the underdog. Tracer seems sometimes a bit ditzy (or rather naive) but she was intelligent and skilled enough to become a pilot at a very young age inclouding expirimental jets, which also requires very good reflexes (there is a difference between running fast and reacting fast), while Scout has nothing of that sort to show for. In fact in the animations we saw Tracer avoiding gunfire from Widowmaker nearly point blank. And Scouts personality...well...he is cocky, kind of an asshole and a douché, so that might lead him to make really stupid mistakes. Yes, Scout can take down a Heavy in melee, but he is required to catch the Heavy by surprise and don't get hit. And though Heavy hits like a truck fired out of a canon, he is by far not a fast attacker. Overall, i would say, it might not as clear, as you think it is. I think it comes down if Scouts many weapons or Tracers specialized arsenal is more effectiv and if scout would be catch on, that Tracers accelerator is her weakpoint (sorry, but i mentioned, that he is kind of a idiot, right?). And even than, Tracer should be knowing to keep her chest out of the line of fire.

I'm going to try and make it a short list. 1) Scout and Widowmaker use vastly different weapons, Scout fires off a shot that spreads and deals more damage, where Widow uses a single round, straight shooting weapon. No matter how agile you are, at close or medium range that Scattergun is going to hit you. 2) Tracer's pistols may be advanced, but it's two low damage dealing pistols vs 21 hard hitting weapons. Even if he doesn't get all his weapons, there's an obvious advantage. 3) Scout has more feats than it might seem, as there are all the things he's done in the comics. Granted, I cannot list them all as I am really tired. 4) Yeah, he's cocky. When you can beat a Russian giant at least twice your age at age 23, who wouldn't be? 5) I'm tired of the app crashing and just tired overall. So I'm going to bed. We'll just have to wait and see.

I´m sorry, but isn't he in the comics basicly the buttmonkey? Although i give him that, that he lives in a universe with cartoon logic, where nearly everyone is a spychopatchic asshole. And while yes, the scattergun would be effectiv against agil oponents on short or medium range, it doesn't work against the blink ability, which let's Tracerkinda be everywhere and nowhere at the same time. Plus her rewind can undo damage dealt to her. Now for the amount of weapons: Yes scout has a lot, but most of them work very similar and he can only use one at a time and needs to switch between them. Also their effectivness depends on the range, whil Tracers pistols are consistend. Tracers pistols also have a higher firerate, than any of scouts weapons, Make it two of them and the damage she deals stacks up very, very fast. So the quantity v.s. quality gets shifted a bit in Tracers favor. Please keep in mind, that i don't say, Tracer will win. I can see it go both ways actually. I just don't think it is allready clear. This battle might be even one of the more even matches since a long time. (I admit however, i kinda routing for Tracer a bit, since i think she is just the better character, but thats my opinion and doesn't have anything to do, how i rate the fighting skills of them)

In MK: DA you shatter a diamond as thick as a man's torso, so the anvil is actually pretty weak in comparison. I know Death Battle only picks the bits they want to cite to make sure they get the outcome they want (Hence why because a different power ranger in a different series with different powers throwing a car equates to the Tigerzord being 32x faster than human reaction), but they kind of went for a low mark with Sonya.

Ruby Rose Which is what I mean, in the original Cinematic Trailer Tracer has some sort of limit on how much she can Blink, but that hasn't been seen again story wise, at least not yet. Blizzard is still releasing shorts, and even has a comic on the way for Soldier, Anna, and another person(who's name I can't remember right now, I think it's Reaper, could be wrong). With all that it just seems to soon. I mean what is Tracer's limits, how far back can she rewind, is the device keeping her stable vulnerable to water or EMPs? We don't know, but we may in a year, yet Screwattack is doing this battle now.
