Heh, I did this target a couple days ago and killed him exactly how Gav did. I bet he would have been even more pissed if he made it to the car at the end, just to realize he didn't have the key for it. He picked up the trailer key, not the car key.

You should have done what I did: Go into the restaurant quickly (so Ryan got that right--he even got the angle of attack right--only the method was wrong). Once done, sneak into the bar on the left; make sure mobile-phone lady doesn't see you. He should be sitting there praising Cain and Lynch. Level your pistol, fire, and run immediately downstairs to that basemen; hide in one of the closets/freezers there. They'll eventually lose track of you and stop their pursuit. Once done, get out, and leave via the gate in the town. The whole thing will look like an action shot. :D
