That’s why he’s in court- on THIS charge. Just three more to go! And, yes he can run and votes can be cast for him in coming election, it’s been done before. But being able to execute the office of the president from jail is another problem. He’s not a mob boss. I think they were only focusing on the defence's time with him as a witness. They'd already covered how Cohen's time as a witness for the prosecution. I agree that it was a little dismissive though. I think this show is working overtime not to come across as biased against Trump.

if Trump and his body guard are next to each other at the time of the call, 1.5 minutes is a lot of time in which to deal with the teenager issue and then hand the phone to Trump. Hardly a "Perry Mason" moment, unless it places Trump within easy access to make Cohen's account more plausible. I'd also be very surprised if the case rests on Cohen's testimony.

I agree. I’m no fan of Cohens, but everything he has testified to is backed up with receipts and corroborating testimony. 96 seconds is a long time, and there is photo evidence of the bodyguard being with trump at the time the call was made.
