Wow, normally when I watch someone saying they are making "Classic 90s trance", it still ends up sounding like trance from 2005. This track actually sounds like the progressive trance made around 1997. Amazing job👍I would pay money for a release like this.

@CodeLyokoFan2002 Yes, trance style changed over the years. It become more and more a mass product. The so called "anthem trance" with the Super Saw type lead and the female vocalists was so popular. That was not bad, but it lost it's own diversity. There is a german word for this era "Mädchen-Techno".

@CodeLyokoFan2002 I don't think Trance is completely dead. It is just not as popular as 10 years ago. It doesn't bother me. I prefer trance music to be more underground than mainstream. kzbin.info/www/bejne/horMY3umr7R9qpI

Sound of my childhood... :) It's quite authentic sounding, which is a rarity. So often people haven't really understood or have forgotten how 90's trance actually sounds like. And stuff they make sounds very 2005's... it's very simple though, but that's understandable, this is a "tutorial" type of a thing, and there's no reason to make it too elaborate. There was this golden age of this style where the productions became quire elaborate and had multiple parts and elements... but this is nice reminder of what we've lost :)

Both had studios and between us we had a 2 x JV1080s, a Yamaha CS2X, Kawai K1, Roland D110, Akai S950, Akai S3000XL, Novation Bass Station, Yamaha TX81Z, Oscar, and a Roland MC202, and a Morpheus I think.
