This isn’t my story, it’s one of my closest friend’s. She was going on a date with a guy and she didn’t seem very interested but was curious about him. Great career and seemed to be the careful type. They went out to a hole in the wall place and before she got to her car he came running at her and pulled her a few feet from her car. She hit him in the gut and brought him to the ground. He told her (while in pain). A woman got into the back seats of her car. She’s really bad at locking at her car btw. They called the police and the woman had a knife on her and was arrested. That was 3 years ago and they are getting married in 7 months. I love their story.

Story 3. I am from Colombia and I got tell you, Cities as Bogota, Medellin and Cali are full of pimps, scammers and criminal gangs which see tourists as an easy prey and target. So I you don't have a really reliable person who can advise and guide you, don't go alone on a trip like that. Unfortunately this kind of situation happens often even to our own people. My horror story about a date with a guy who claimed he can cook: I arrived at his place and it was so insanely grimey and disgusting that I had to fight the impulse to turn around and leave immediately. It turns out by "cooking" he meant making a basic salad while intermittently reaching out to touch the dirt encrusted dustbin lid to throw away the scraps. I insisted on rewashing the cut vegetables but I came down with food poisoning anyway. This guy was a grad student but he didn't know the first thing about hygiene.

It’s so common in Columbia, like insanely. It’s covered so much when looking into Columbia. Def feel bad for the guy, but also when something appears too good to be true… it usually is. I will say the one thing that sounds sus is losing 20k. Almost no bank, especially internationally will allow such a large sum of cash to be removed in a few hour period. Especially though ATMs. Usually have a per atm limit and a per day limit. The amount for daily use almost never (even for very wealthy clients) exceeds a few thousand a day. And when you look up country specific, to get 20k ish in Columbia that’s like over 100 atms Edit:typos

@@bmfsnc8466 I like these stories, too. These things don't happen to me for some reason. Maybe I should be grateful for having common sense. Although last year my driver was held for ransom in Cucuta by corrupt Venezuelan border patrol agents and I had to pay for his stupidity. Told him we go directly to the Colombian office and speak to them. He stops and starts a conversation with the Venezuelans and I'm shaking my head like No No No! but dumdum turns us both into targets. I took the ransom off the total price of his transportation fees for 20 hours of travel one way. Then after getting my passport and my driver back I said Let's go hide in the mountains, so for 4 days we stayed at some hippy farm and de-stressed. I rented 2 cabins and told him go make a fire and don't talk to any chupacabras! I'm not paying your ransom next time.

POF=hookups lol Online dating worked for me for a few years, longest relationship was 3 years. Now I am happily single 😊 seriously! Do what I want, eat what I want, watch what I want. My time is MY time. If it is going to happen it will.

Years ago you used to be able to go on blind dates without becoming a scene from A Serbian Film. Now every damn day someone is getting raped or murdered or at a minimum accused of being creepy.

Women, if you ever need to get out of a date, be direct and honest. Show no fear. Be bold and confident. Apartments on the first date is a definate no no. No matter how rich or handsome or charming.
