The story with the crazy gf that had the bar fight, why does nobody ever call the police and report a drunk driver? Who cares if it’s your friend, you’re saving their life and more importantly somebody else’s.
@bowiestardust98
@bowiestardust98 Жыл бұрын
Also most bigoted racists etc I’ve come across, they’re usually as violent and reactionary as the gf. You have to be a terrible person to put up with that language in the first place in the name of ‘love’ too. I also can’t believe those guys just tried to ignore the incident with the girl with the eye and not check on her, OP and the others all sound like moronic douchebags regardless

Ex Meat Cutter here. As for the first story I would need to see the pictures to confirm, but I could offer explanation for the cages, barrels, classroom, and books. The ham radio I'm unsure about. But all those things were used in the slaughter house I worked at, so I really think they just spooked themselves.

Regarding the slaughterhouse story. Hate to burst anyone's bubble, I seriously doubt animals were being kept downstairs in the basement. Not any type of large livestock anyway. Larger livestock can't maneuver stairs. Maybe goats or similar but nothing larger. The cages were too large for goats though. The only animal I can think of is maybe chickens but even that's iffy. I owned a potbelly pig for more than a decade. I live in a split foyer home. Trust me, pigs can't handle stairs, especially going down. I know an animal weighing a half ton surely isn't using the stairs.

I think the whole point was that OP was afraid the cages had been put there more recently, as part of a trafficking/kidnap/murder situation and to be fair that is entirely possible. There are alot of abandoned buildings being used by squatters or various criminals and kidnapping, murder and trafficking are all alot more common then people think.

Oh God, I can sympathize with the library workers in the last story. While we haven't had such a scary encounter, we do get all kinds of people. People often assume that libraries are safe, quiet places, and we try to keep it safe (though often NOT quiet as we have a lot of programs for kids). But people have to understand that PUBLIC libraries, with semi-comfortable seats, air conditioning, bathrooms and an atmosphere where you (usually) won't get bothered unless you violate rules or the law, it can attract ANYONE. More and more, we get people who are transients, have severe mental issues, etc. We never know what kind of person will walk in. We are a little bit safer as we are in the same building as a police station (albeit, not one open to the public at the moment) but something could happen before any of the officers can respond, or even know that something is happening. For the most part, our patrons and "residents" (what some of my coworkers and I call people who pretty much "live" there while we are open) are no trouble. They just want a safe space to BE, or maybe look for jobs, etc. But we do sometimes get some that are unhinged - yelling and screaming, soiling our furniture (don't ask). And I think we all know that things will continue to get worse.
