What makes it scary is that it may have a logical explanation. Not knowing if you ended up ingesting psychedelics, never having been drunk before so you wouldn't have known how it felt vs lsd. And then the hot flash you mentioned- I always get a hot flash when the trip is starting up. So basically you'd have no way to know if what you were seeing was real or not. Also lsd causes the kinds of hallucinations you mentioned; you don't usually just see things that aren't there clear as day in front of you but you'll form patterns out of existing things which can cause images to form in your mind. So, shadowy figures, shapes in the lights, faces in clouds- stuff like that. That little detail about the lsd is what takes your story from stupid/pointless/ridiculous to a legit creepy story.

If one of children ever told me about a terrifying experience (specifically paranormal) I wouldn’t brush it off, I’d believe them! I hate hearing these stories where the parents don’t believe their kids. Great stories btw!!

Right? Even if it wasn’t anything crazy like they are genuinely scared, so I would make sure to make them feel safe and check up on whatever it is that’s bothering them.

I have NEVER understood this either! The hand full of weird “paranormal” incidents that happened to me as a kid were always backed up with a similar story from one of my parents! My childhood home was built in 1880... All three of my children have had some paranormal experiences each and were not afraid to come to me about them! There were SEVERAL that could ONLY be described as paranormal! I can’t stand parents who usually don’t believe the things their children tell them, it’s so irresponsible!

12/31/20 I want to send in several stories to Joel and maybe a few to my other two favorite narrators... I’ve already decided to “spell out” the pronunciation of several words before sending them in! Honestly, Joel does a much better job pronouncing words correctly than MOST narrators on KZbin! There are a few narrators I could never get into because of how horribly they hacked so many words up and even some pretty common NAMES! One narrator pronounced the name Penelope “puh-nell-uh-pee” AS “pin-aye-low-p”!!! Also, faux “foe” AS “fox” or “folks”... 😆 I get that some words are pronounced a bit differently, depending on where you live in the USA, but some words are pronounced TOTALLY THE SAME, if you live in the USA, the UK or even Australia! I always think of the Aussie accent as a UK accent with a Southern draw! Lol, now you WILL NEVER UN-HEAR Australian accents as British accents with a draw!!!😂 I hope you have a safe and Happy New Year tonight and that your 2021 will be 100 times better than 2020!!!🪅✨🎉 Love from Texas ♥️🤠🌴

It was just a spoof call Sofia, you'll never get anything from calling that number because that's not the number that called you. Or if you do, you're calling a random stranger that had nothing to do with the initial phone call. I've had my own home phone number show up on my home phone caller ID before and I certainly didn't call myself. Just another tactic scam artists use, but super interesting that it was a phone number you remember from childhood.
