Did the childrens feet match DNA with any of the adults feet? Due to the fact that they suspect most finds were the natural result of being in the water, makes me think that there are a LOT of bodies weighted down in the local waters..

from Wikipedia: "In Canada, the B.C. Coroners Service said in December 2017 that foul play had been ruled out by authorities in all investigations and that the feet came from people who died either in accidents or by suicide, and the feet detached during the normal decomposition process. The feet were usually found in sneakers, which the coroner thought were responsible for both keeping the feet buoyant enough to eventually wash ashore, and for giving the feet enough protection from decomposition to be found relatively intact.[1] Prior to the recent seeming rush of feet washing ashore, there have been earlier instances going back more than a century, such as a leg in a boot that was found on a Vancouver beach in 1887.[2] The most recent discovery was on January 1, 2019, when people on Jetty Island in Everett, Washington called police to report a boot with a human foot inside, which the coroner was able to match to Antonio Neill, who was missing since December 12, 2016.[3]"

22:49 I read about Gail Anderson's research on the Salish Sea phenomenon. She & her team actually dropped pig carcasses into the Salish Sea to study how the marine creatures consume the body. That's how they came to their conclusions about the feet detaching via natural causes.

My mother did that too, letting us sleep in the stroller outside in the backyard in the winter, covered with many layers of clothing and blankets of course. That was in the late 80s early 90s, and we did it too with our kid's 10 years ago. Babys sleep so much better in fresh air, and it's healthier too in comparison to the dry heated air inside. As long as the place where the stroller is standing isn't easily accessible for strangers, and the baby isn't cold of course, it shouldn't be a problem to let your baby sleep outside...

Yeah, the foot thing has been thoroughly and fully explained. Anybody who lives near the Salish Sea understands how intricate and Rocky the coastlines are. Moreover, the tides and currents in that region are absolutely chaotic. If a body goes in the water there, its almost immediately hung up on some rocks, the crabs and dogfish go to work, and the ruber/ foam runners act like a perfect buoy. As a kid My friends and I used to find antique glass Japanese fish floats on the beach all the time. Anything that goes into the water that can float winds up on the beaches there.

I may have missed a detail, but why the hell would you leave your baby in a stroller outside? Like I know "60s were a different time," (Which does not make sense at all to me in this case) but that feels moronic. It's a tragedy what happened to that baby, but it feels like part of this is due to the stupidity of the mom.

In some of the Baltic Nations this is still practiced. people will regularly leave their children in strollers outside of restaurants when it's snowing. one lady got in trouble I think perhaps in New York for doing this. she was from a Baltic nation. it's thought of as good for the babies. to be fair they have much higher survival rates for their mothers and children under two as opposed to the US lol. it's not a problem over there. kids aren't taken to the degree that they are here. it's a cultural norm.

The only thing I can think is she was letting her get some fresh air and sunshine. When my son was born he had jaundice, and we were told he needed as much sunshine as possible. This was in December so the best we could do was leave him in a diaper, in his swing in front of a window with open blinds. But, there’s no way even if it had been another season I would have left him out where anyone could snatch him.

I would think the feet could be from dumped bodies. They may have came off naturally, but that doesn’t mean the bodies ended up in the water naturally. There was that serial killer that murdered people along the Appalachian Trail, and the PNW seems to draw serial killers. For example the Green River killer.
@sylasgirl
@sylasgirl Жыл бұрын
The washed up feet is just natural. The people who were either tossed, fell or committed suicide were likely sinkers - some bodies sink whilst others float - and through the natural decomposition and movement of the body underwater the feet/foot got dislodged and floated to the top because of the sneaker. Weird, but perfectly natural.

As for the feet one, the most likely cause is that these people jump from bridges/commit suicide in the body of the water. Feet are hard for scavengers in the water to eat, so the leg is targeted first. Once the leg snaps the foot can float off way down stream. So most of these are just probably normal janes and Johns who take their own lives.

I found a sneaker on the shores of the Thames in London once. I kicked it, and when it turned over I saw a leg bone sticking out. I called the police etc. Turns out the local hospital had been dumping waste in the Thames whilst their incinerator was broken.

Blame it on witches or Satan when you can't figure it out! I remember that phase, everyone was sacrificing humans for Satan. Turns out it never happened but we need explanations for horrible humans. There's bad people out there and bad things happen. Don't dig too deep, leave that to Joel.

A story about them people who burned that man is so horrible because that happened the other day but it was just one guy and he put lighter fluid on him and said him on fire and he died the next day I think them people if they can't get the death penalty I hope they burn in hell for doing that to people
