This is gonna sound weird because I could literally tell a million stories about related things but what I really want to say is thank you for making videos like this for people like me who are so interested in it all... recently I was diagnosed with liver failure and while being in the hospital going through hell, awaiting surgery after surgery, being in a god awful amount of pain of it all and even at several points contemplating my death (not trying to sound dramatic) but listening to this channel really REALLY helped me pass the time and take my mind off of it all. I’ve been listening for years but don’t think I’ve ever commented until now and thought you should hear a thank you!

Eh, Zoom itself is more or less a mixed bag -- about as good or bad as the individuals who use it. You just have to take basic precautionary measures, such as tightly controlling who can and cannot access a meeting. Though users early in the pandemic can certainly be excused, since some problems of the platform were not as widely known, at the time.

Okay, not to detract from the crappy stuff that happened to OP in story 2, but his divorce explanation was basically "I played CSGO so often and interacted with my clan so much that one of its members (whom I will now describe as "totally my type") fell madly in love with me, and just _completely out of nowhere_ my stupid wife says she wants a divorce and full custody of our kid!! Like what the heck! How did this happen??"
@dahliacheung60202 жыл бұрын
Yuuupp. It all happened because gaming was all he did/does. And what sucks even more is that during the divorce proceedings he seemed to fall even more into gaming instead of taking a step back to look at his life.

Why didn't the gaming bloke fight for custody of his daughter?!?! He is such a wimp! Too many men just cave in when their relationship breaks down, and they don't seem to fight for custody hard enough, letting the woman call the shots. Man up, ffs! Big kudos to the men who DO fight for custody, and don't give into the sexist notion that women are only capable of taking care of kids, or that they should be given consideration just cause they're women.
@b.lonewolf4173 жыл бұрын
Maybe he did fight for custody, and he simply didn't emphasize that aspect because it's not the main focus of the story? I do, however, agree with most of the other things you said. Fathers are *absolutely* parents, every bit as much as mothers are, and dads deserve equal consideration and credence in such battles.

@dr.seussie29593 жыл бұрын
@@Savior1911 that doesn't make custody automatic. It's still a case by case situation, and if you get a good lawyer and tell them enough detail, you may still have a chance. Personally, everytime I saw the woman immediately win custody was because the intention of divorce was premeditated, giving her the upper hand in compiling evidence to build her case long before the husband was aware there was even an issue. Happens vice-versa too, but just something to think about. I.e. even if you are entirely confident in your marriage and families stability, you should always be ready for the unexpected for the sake of keeping what you love most.
