Wow. That defendant is truly slimy. He was going to say whatever to get out of paying. In court it was "I'll pay her ... eventually" and "she wouldn't have asked for her money back if I had slept with her". Then after the judge schooled them both on Ohio usury laws, all of a sudden it was "I would've paid her if she hadn't 'loan sharked' me" ... which was his offer to her in order to secure the loan in the first place, not a condition she placed on the loan. He thinks he's all that. News flash --- he's not.

That’s what I just commented too - that’s what he offered to pay her for the loan, not to mention where’s her “rough justice” now to skirt state laws? Come on this is for TV and she’s acting as if she’s the Supreme Court THEN when convenient (I’m assuming when ratings are low she stops awarding anything or if she does it’s next to nothing) this pissed me off -

Here's what I'm thinking. Defendent says (in state of Ohio or any other state that has a goofy law like this), "Lend me $500 and I'll pay you back $800 in two weeks. Plaintiff thinks, "Great, I'm almost going to double my money in 14 days and he's willing to put it in writing". But the defendent knows that this contract is illegal in Ohio and that he won't even have to pay the principle back, never mind the interest. JM didn't even touch upon the fact that it seems that it was the defendent that made the $300 in interest offer. And the way the law is written, it may not even matter if it's the defendents idea. It's the perfect scenario for scammers. To be fair, I don't think the defendent actually knew this, but he does now!

He has some nerve saying she is an older woman when he’s not a spring chicken himself. I also think he asked for the loan with no intention of paying knowing by offering to repay more money the loan would be null and void. What a creep!

Defendant is a slimy POS. He knew nothing about that law until JM explained it in court. If he had, he would have mentioned it during his testimony. If he had any decency, he would have said in the interview that he is still planning to pay her back. But he has no decency. If I were his aunt I would pay plaintiff back myself, I would be so ashamed of him.

Because women fall for weak games and lies thinking they'll get something out of it until they realize the guy has no use for them nor any intention of paying her back.
